The Crooked Cat Course is one of two 18-hole regulation courses at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. The facility is also home to a nine-hole executive course. The Crooked Cat Course is a challenge with dramatic elevation changes and rolling fairways that are framed with mounding. The golf course has a links-style design with large, contoured greens and wide landing areas. Water hazards and several bunkers come into play throughout. There are also trees and native heather present on the course for a naturally beautiful atmosphere. Orange County National's Crooked Cat Course is favored among low handicappers due to its length and difficulty.

Crooked Cat at OCN is a very fair and well groomed course. We love to play here for the location, friendliness, and very good golf. The practice facility is top notch and they have a great pro shop. The food in the restaurant is always good. The starters here on both courses are always helpful and get you in a good mood for your round, which I think is one of the most important qualities in a starter/ greeter. The ability to play a second round on a different course at the replay rate ensures we will be back again and again.

We have been coming here for years What a disappointment the greens were aerated and Sandy we have no issue with aerated greens we understand why you need to do it but you never notified us or gave us the option of playing the other course and yet you’re charged us the full amount all we’re saying is we should’ve been given the option or notified that the course was in that kind of condition.

Very disappointing not coming back Just because of the way management handle that many other options

Enjoyed our early afternoon t time …the place has a lot of golf holes so make sure you arrive early.…staff was very friendly the starter was very informative…the course was kinda rough t to green for $120 but very challenging …pace was excellent 4/20 min…next time I will play panther lake

Green’s punched & sanded on back 9

Starter advised us back 9 greens were punched this morning with small holes but putts should still roll ok. However, no mention of back 9 greens also being sanded, which impacted play. Otherwise, course was surprisingly dry after all the heavy rains the last couple of days. On two holes in which I encountered green side bunkers, I was disappointed to find the sand mixed heavily with small rocks. Pace of play was 4:45 min, even with a Marshall saying 4:20-4:30. Our 4-some had to wait basically on every shot. Tee times probably should be spaced out more than they are.

Nice course on a windy day

I played Crooked Cat for the first time on a very windy March afternoon and while the pace of play was very slow (almost 5 hours), I found the course to be in decent shape, with very hard greens that made chipping and approach shots a big challenge, but the putts rolled true. If you can get a deal on GolfNow I don’t think you will be disappointed
