About

The Crooked Cat Course is one of two 18-hole regulation courses at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. The facility is also home to a nine-hole executive course. The Crooked Cat Course is a challenge with dramatic elevation changes and rolling fairways that are framed with mounding. The golf course has a links-style design with large, contoured greens and wide landing areas. Water hazards and several bunkers come into play throughout. There are also trees and native heather present on the course for a naturally beautiful atmosphere. Orange County National's Crooked Cat Course is favored among low handicappers due to its length and difficulty.

Great facility and course

What I like the most about this golf course is how the different tee are meaningful. The whites are much easier than the next set of tees back and so forth....

Great course

This is a great course. Fairways, greens, bunkers, tee boxes are in great condition We are average golfers and this a difficult but fair course. The only negative is the annoying GPS. Once you are 90 yards from the pin it stops you. Not only is this annoyingly far, but divots don’t get sanded because no one is walking back to the cart and back to their divot. That said, it’s a great course and we can’t wait to come back.

Crooked Cat is always a pleasure

Not much to say other than up to the usual standards. Greens are well paced without being uncontrollable. Course drains well so no residual issues on course from Ian. The roads inbound were affected so you will have to enter thru the residential community entrance on the back of the property.

Rider Fees!!

First of all Crooked Cat is a great course in wonderful condition - this cannot be disputed. However this round was booked as a gift to a friend for his 50th birthday. Unsurprisingly he brought along his fiancé to enjoy the experience but we were charged a rider fee for her as a non player of $26. Given that we were a three-ball and nobody else had booked to play at our tee time I find this appalling. I will not return as there are plenty more clubs in central Florida that are friendlier and less keen to rip-off the golfing public.

Great Shape

Crooked Cat weathered the hurricane quite well and there was little evidence of the storm’s impact. The greens were running quick and true. Fairways and roughs were in good shape as were the tees. As always, the staff was friendly and helpful!
