About
Northern California's San Juan Oaks Golf Club is located halfway between the Silicon Valley and Monterey Peninsula off Highway 101 near the historic town of San Juan Bautista in Hollister. Opened in 1996, the 18-hole golf course is Fred Couples' first signature design in California and features five sets of tees for varying skill levels. It's also home to "Club Boom Boom," a popular junior teaching program. On top of the golf course, San Juan Oaks is known especially for its elaborate facilities including banquet rooms and patios for group outings, as well as driving range and practice greens.

So Windy = Slow Play
It was extremely windy that I believe it slowed the pace of play to a crawl. Just one of those days. Looking forward to the 80-90 light breeze days.

fun time
great course good conditions and great staff! I checked in with a broken screw in my 3 wood, asked if they might have one, no luck. How about a demo 3 wood, well they had the same one and let me use it for no charge. They also allow me to use my cycle board rover electric scooter golf cart!!!

Sunday at San Juan Oaks
Course was in great condition. Greens rolled fast and true. Bunkers were in good shape (with actual sand in them and not hard pan). Some of the tee boxes could have been more level.
