Course was very easy, wide fairways.
This your typical "Snowbird Course" in South Florida. Lot's of retired folks playing this one. Short course, wide fairways, slow greens.
nice. easy. perfect for hollidays
The place is pure fun. Despite a relatively large amount of water you lose little balls. Super maintenance condition. We'll be back.
Great Course Great Way to Spend it on your birthday.
The course is great well maintained.. the staff in the pro shop, guy at the 1st hole at the gazebo was great and even the beverage cart girl was awesome... only problem that we ran into was that the Peeble Creek area got hit with a power outtage about and hour before our scheduled tee time so it pushed everyone's time back about 45 minutes... overall for the price I won't complain...
Great course in my backyard
Never played here before, though ive lived in Tampa all my life. My new favorite course
Enjoyable course to play
Staff friendly and helpful. Mulligan grill has good food and staff very friendly. Tee times were on time. Course in decent shape. Challenge is average for the average golfer. Will definitely play it again.
Tee off now? But I can't see the fairway.
The day we played there was a terrible fog in the morning. When we arrived for our 7:45 tee time expecting a delay, we were told we were next on the tee. We were not able to see anything. The starter said they were full and needed to get people out. We could wait but there was no guarantee we would get out then. Needless to say, we played the first eight holes fogged in. The ten holes I saw were nice. Will try course again, only afternoon though.
This course has all levels of playing holes which.
The course is well kept. All areas of grass maintained and greens in better than average shape. Course was a treat to play as there were different levels of playing challenges throughout the course.
very enjoyable, and peaceful suroundings
we had a great day of enjoyable golf. staff was super.
great deals on golf shoes and hats.
great course, great people
Very friendly staff.
Course in great shape.
GPS is an added bonus.
Very nice course. Good condition
The greens were the best in this area. Great price and a nice challenge. Totally enjoyed the round.
Verry nice course , great value.
Super design, cart with gps, lots of water so if you slice or hook bring some floating balls lol.
Pretty Course!
Pebble Creek is a pleasure to play! It's in very good shape and well manicured! The ladies tee's are positioned well giving a fair yardage from the men's white tee's. We seen a few gators too! The staff was very friendly & courteous! We'll be back!
Carts have GPS which include giving locations of distance to water hazards other carts and flag etc. and also manages score, this is a nice feature.
Course can challenge your course management with water hazards on almost every hole. These include medium to long range par threes, normal range and a few shorter dogleg par fours and big hitters can make birdies on the par fives. Include trees and sand traps as well as a few holes with houses which will require medium accuracy shots throughout the course. The greens are on the smaller side, medium to slow the day I played but are lightly sloping to fairly flat and roll true with only a few greens with enough slope, that hole placement can really challenge your green reading skills. The day I played was extremely busy which caused waiting on every hole. We teed off at 1 pm and finished #18 at dusk. Previous play at this course did not have this kind of wait times.
Well maintained with large landing areas off the tee.
I enjoy this course everytime I play it. Your score can vary 10 strokes from one visit to the next if you don't concentrate on each shot. Greens are in good shape, but have suttle breaks near the hole.
I've played Pebble Creek for over 20 years. Best condition ever.
Right now, Pebble Creek is in the best condition I've ever seen it. Not comparable to a good private course but certainly better than many semi-private courses. Using the rates available through Golfnow, definitely a bargain.
Slow play due to a set of 3 groups playing back to back. N
A links through nature
The course brings you winding through a Florida natural habitat. The layout is ideal for the novice and for the weathered golfer. Water is here and there but not threatening, unless a really poor shot finds a creek or pond. Same is true for the surrounding hammocks of trees, an errant ball is history. The fairways, roughs, bunkers and greens are well maintained. On this course I'd recommend staying focused and keep in mind course management, and you'll be pleased coming to 18 and Mulligan's Pub.
Similar to Stoneybrook West GC & CC of Mount Dora. Fun course to play.
1:08 Tee time w/ 2 buddies. Beautiful tree lined course w/ great layout in subdivision setting. Does not have a driving range. Tee boxes in good shape. Fairways plush. Greens were fast & rolling true. Have heard from locals that course can get mushy after heavy rains. Good Hot Deal price for this round. Will definitely play again.
Challenging course in good condition - good value
Played on a beautiful Wednesday morning. Staff was very friendly, and let my twosome off early. We followed two foursomes, and expected play to be s-l-o-w, but was pleasantly surprised to find it moved right along with no real waiting past the first par3. A few tee boxes needed attention, and some sides along the fairways showed previous standing water, but otherwise were smooth and firm. Greens were all in very nice shape, other than one heavy-footed person's spike marks. Course was a bit tighter than normal central FL courses, but not unreasonably so. Accuracy would be considered a definite advantage on this course, more so than distance. Nice scenery that winds through trees and ponds. Good value for a morning tee time.
Great staff loved the layout tight but fair
The course is not very long, but don,t be fooled. You have to place the ball off the tee to score well. greens slope from back to front,so be careful not to get above the hole. Water comes into play on several holes if you are not careful. the 18th hole is a true test of your skills,or lack thereof. Good tee shot then all carry across a watery grave to a green that sopes left to right.
The course is fun to play but you must hit the ball straight. We will come back to play again.
Price is also right and a great restaurant and bar.
Great layout
Pretty wide open course, enough water to keep you honest. The rough was my biggest foe during my recent round. We had just gotten about 2” of rain, so anything in the rough stayed there. Helpful, friendly staff.
