Fairways are a bit thin right now, but course is very playable.
Wonderful outing. We played Saturday afternoon and had the place to ourselves. The tees and greens were in great shape. The fairways had thin spots, but nothing that required taking relief. As usual, Pebble Creek's greens were lush and puttable, but slow because they never cut them close.
The alligators and hawks were out and fun to watch!
Decent course in resonably good shape
No driving range but does have a cage to hit into, course is average on condition, it is a nice layout.
this course a great greens
I liked this course. it had a couple challanging holes. The border of the fairways could use some work. the grass was so fluffy you could lose your ball 5 feet in front of you.
Always friendly staff
Is always a pleasure to play at Pebble Creek. The entire staff are super friendly. Course is in very good shape most of the time. In rainy weather it tends to be wetter than others. Still a great course.
Great features and affordable
Course is really nice. It will hold water on a couple holes but other than that its great. People are friendly and the pace of play is much better compared to other local courses and it is very affordable. If i had the chance to play multiple times a week I would consider becoming a member there.
Ok deal for the $$$$
Carts all have GPS, makes the round slightly easier to see what you have in front of you when you dont know the layout well. Good Irish bar in the club house and cute bartender doesnt hurt either.
Very nice course. Watch for the alligators.
It was very wet the last time I played there maybe a month ago. The greens are slower compare to Summerfield Crossings and Bloomingdale. The people who plays there are seems to be nice and have manners. I always play by myself so I play very fast. A few of them had let me go pass them. Very nice golfers. Thank you guys.
Challenging Course
Course tees are set nicely to make the course play to anyones level. Lots of Water Hazards and bunkers . Most of the Greens are raised up high. Dislikes : No Range
This course needs some serious TLC
Upon arrival we expected a normal long distance range which was advertised online. However, we discovered the range had been knocked down for apartments and is now a small, limited spot with close netting astroturf cage. It is next to the parking lot and resembles those at home nets you hit in to in your backyard. The starter was very kind and let us go off early since he said our original tee time was during peek hours. The course, however, needs some serious maintenance. It had rained a bunch the previous few days so we expected it to be wet but not like this. It was complete mud everywhere! The course also looked as though it had not been mowed in weeks. I have never lost more balls on a single hole, let alone golf course, in my entire life. If you thought you hit it down the middle of the fairway, the fairway turned into extreme rough and was most definitely lost even though you remembered exactly where it went. If the course had some routine lawn care and upgrades it may be a better course for the money. Price was very cheap so I guess we got what we paid for.
I will say that the staff was very friendly and the pub inside was great. We also encountered some beautiful wildlife. This course just needs some consistent upkeep.
slooow play
First time at course. Starter immediately impressed me by grouping singles together and getting us out early. However, he warned us that we had a golfer in the group ahead of us with a medical condition - translation - slow play. Sure enough, play was at a glacial pace - 2hr 40 min for front 9. We hoped we would be able to play through for back 9, but no such luck. We spoke to the group and they said THEY WERE WAITING ON THE GROUP AHEAD OF THEM! AND IT WAS TRUE!!! The group ahead of them were terrible; constantly in the woods or just missing the ball. At one point on the course, we could see the gap between them and the next group - 3 holes!!!
Therefore based on Slow Play+ No ranger+ No Cart Girl = Last time I play Pebble Creek!
