Verrado Golf Club - Founders Course

I always enjoy playing this course . Fairways are in good shape considering summer in AZ , greens are very good , rolling smooth and true . I would recommend this course

The staff was excellent, the driving range was well stocked, and a very generous, putting green, the carts were very nice and clean, and the amenities were better than most. The course was an excellent condition and had some very challenging holes, especially with the wind overall you can’t miss or lose by coming here

Course to ourself. Challenging track, good condition. Plenty of drinking water, beverage cart timely. Cool towels helpful.

Love this course and it definitely lives up to the hype as far as views, well maintained tee boxes, greens and fairways. The only knock on this course was pace of play. Took 4 hours 40 minutes to finish a round. On a day when the temps get over 110, standing around waiting for slow foursomes ahead of you is no fun. But because the course was so nice, I will def be back.

Great course. Played many times. Slow today because two in front still learning golf. They actually said they ran out of golf balls at the turn. Course great layout but but if you're high 80s at wide open course, either bring one ball per hole and don't look for five minutes if your shot path has an elbow, or, fine tune accuracy before giving it a run. Beautiful scenery and layout. And for those who don't know, home along hole 2 sells golf balls through venmo and ironically ALWAYS had large supply thanks to beginners trying course.

Everything was good as you can get for late July.

Only thing is the greens still haven’t fully recover from the aeration.

The fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. Most of the greens were in very good shape. A few still need to fill in.

The course is a lot of fun. Very challenging, even from the white tees. Their website said they finished aerating the greens on July 1st, but they were still in rough shape on the 18th. Will definitely play again in a few weeks.

Course was in good shape for the summer. Tee boxes and fairways were nice. Greens were still a little bumpy after the last aeration, not too bad but it is noticeable while putting.

The course staff was very friendly and helpful. Extreme value at $75 including range balls and cart. Course was in great shape with fairways lush and greens rolled true. Approach shots stuck on the greens. Very good layout with changes in elevation with only a couple target holes. Otherwise wide open and fairly easy to play.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The carts while they do not have GPS do have two ice chests on them. The starter brought scented towels to use to cool down while on the course. The fairways ranged from lush to thin to burnt out in sections. The greens were terrible. They have been punched but have not recovered. The ball bounced its way to the hole. They were more sand and dimpled holes than green. Now for the painful part. It is funny how different people are. There was one group of 5 people who knew they were playing slow and graciously let groups play through. This speaks highly of their character. Another thoughtless and oblivious group held up 5 groups behind them and played slow ruining the day for everyone else. Considering that there was NO ONE in front of this group they could have easily let faster groups through. They started 2 hours before I did and I caught up to the log jam they created on the 10th hole. From this point to finish was nearly 3 hours. I have not played here in a long time and I remember why now.

I had canceled 2 previous tee times here and played somewhere else, what a mistake. This is a wonderful venue and the Founders course was scenic and fun to play. Course is in excellent shape and everyone there on the staff was extremely friendly. They just need to encourage pace of play a little better., took a little over 4-1/2 hours, but not terrible.

Beautiful course, besides the greens were just punched & sanded, every other part of the course was in great condition. I can't wait until I bring my husband here to play a round.
