Verrado Golf Club - Founders Course

Friendly staff inside and out. Starter got us out promptly. Beverage cart came around frequently. Pace of play was a bit slow due to group ahead of us slow to hit shots and slow putting on greens. Everybody thinks there pros now a days. Standing over balls wagging and 10 practice swings. Plumb bobbing, lining up putts walking around every angle possible.Please people play ready golf and be considerate of the groups behind you.

Great golf course, incredible views of the surrounding mountain ranges and better than average pub food. Greens however were not the way I remembered playing here 3 years ago

The staff welcomes you and directs you to the range/practice putting green area. There the starter

takes your name and updates you on when you are due to start. On time the starter will takes your group

to Hole 1 tee box (if you are new to the course). The entire staff are extremely courteous and helpful, which relaxes you and helps your round of golf to begin stress free. The entire course is beautiful, green and challenging. It is important to stay in the fairway because the mountainous desert bordering the fairways is unforgiving and unplayable. There are more than adequate water coolers for your convenience, as well as rest stops. This is the finest

course in the west valley.

Best golfing on the west side. Everything and everyone was top notch again. Verrado courses are my favorite out here.

Friendly staff. Wasn't busy on Easter Sunday- so, my wife (kinda of a beginner) and I played just under 4 hrs.

First ones off the tee box at 6:39 am so pace of play was great. Love playing Verrado, well maintained course and great views. We finished before 11:00 am so the restaurant wasn’t open but the golf staff recommended a great diner off I-10 which we checked out. I’ve driven from North Scottsdale four times in the past month to play Verrado. It’s worth the drive and will keep returning.

Great staff. Very helpful. Pro Shop had super selection at fair prices. restaurant is second to none!

Greens junk. Sand traps junk. Par 3 tee boxes junk. Way overpriced. A beautiful course no doubt but the greens were not good at all.

Greens were junk. Sand traps, junk. Tee boxes-just slightly better than junk on the par 3’s. For the price of this course I expected ALLOT better than what we got. I walked away from the course wishing I had played somewhere else.

Good shape although greens could be faster especially front nine. Great pace, awesome fairways and tee boxes.

Good overall, the greens are undulating and has some issues in places. Great track and facilities. I have played this course many times and previous rounds had better greens and company that we had yesterday. Played with a person on course that was very confrontational !!
