Could be a nice course
Its has been over 3 years since I play here, and I live at about 10 minutes away.
Last time, pace of play was just terrible, T-boxes and fairways and greens needed some serious attention.
Fast forward to today, well, nothing much has change.
First: there is no ranger you pay and just go and try to tee off, there would be at least 4 groups waiting.
The groups on front os us, hit at least 3 balls each on most of their shots.
The course is really not exciting at all, if the greens t boxes and fairways where taking care of it could be., add someone to speed up people.
But nope not the case you would just has to wait on the t-box on every shot, today they had some kind of tournament going on, si that did not help.
I’m always amazed how many people who can not get off the t-box choose to play from the tips, I mean I get it you pay to play, but damm hit one ball and move on.
One good thing, they renovated the bathrooms on the golf course, oh course you would has to call the club house if you want to use then, as you will need a code. Here is a free tip, write the code on the score card.
The guy who is taking the cars in to charge and clean then, he needs some serious people skills.
I was dropping the car off, and this dude a white dude with a goatee, came flaying full blast, and turn while stopping to skid the car, getting next to this asian looking older men, and say (Why did you change cars) the guy was kind shock this dude almost hot his car where he was putting his golf bag.
The tone was very condescending and rude..!
So, don’t bother with this place there lots of good golf courses around,
Also I shot a 72 so no I’m not bitter is just an honest review.
The pace of play was very slow. Took almost 5 hours to finish the 18 holes.
Needs improvement
I’ve played this course several times, but now it looks neglected... fairways and greens in need of some improvements
Nice layout in a neighborhood setting, yet plenty of nature
Course conditions were really dry since the Tampa area hasn't had rain in a while. Most holes had sand traps strategically placed. Great value for a fun, challenging time.
course needs mowing
the course needs mowing and some of the greens need attending too.
Decent course but slow
A little annoyed to show up to no starter and 4 groups lined up at the first tee box. Started over 30 minutes after my tee time and the round took over 4 hours to play. Otherwise course was in good shape.
Good per usual
Course was in good condition as usual. Great value for the money. Played after a hard rain so the course was a little wet, but played well. Doing some small cart path construction. Some weeds on the greens, but over were in great shape. Be back again soon.
good value
This is a better course than some reviews suggest. Yes, it has some rough edges and you may have to roll the ball in the fairways in places, but it is a good layout with good dogleg holes and some challenging shots to greens, which are well maintained and usually fast. And try beating the price in peak season.
