About
Northdale Golf & Tennis Club remains one of the premier Tampa golf courses because of its affordable play, its use of water on 11 of 18 holes, bunkers, rolling undulations and contoured greens that really challenge players. Just 12 miles north of Tampa International Airport, this is a neighborhood golf course with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere that will add to the enjoyment of your day. Renowned golf course architect Ron Garl designed the par 72, 6824-yard championship golf course. Northdale Golf & Tennis Club winds its way through 180 plus acres of property that is home to Brushy Creek and a series of small lakes and unspoiled wooded areas.

Value for the money.
Got a $15 hot rate. So hard to be too critical. Greens in great shape. Fairways mown. Fun layout. Only had to wait on one hole. On course bathrooms were locked, not accessible. Still waiting on liquor license so no beer available in clubhouse restaurant after the round.
Poor condition
This is the worst I have ever seen a course in awhile. Undrivable cart paths. Poor tee boxes on the 16th there wasnt even a tee box it was in a temporary one because the original was underwater that you had to drive through on the cart path. Bumps everywhere on the path. It used to be a nice course but not anymore. No brakes on th carts themselves!! They should be charging $15 instead of the rip off $33 that they charge!!!!
Don't waste your money
Fairways are thread bare. Grass is sparse. Greens much too fast for amateurs. Used to love this course just 5 minutes from my house but won't be back. Huge disappointment.
Interesting community course located in a sub-division. Some challenging holes but not overly difficult. Good value.
Greens for the Pro's
The greens were pro level condition and lightening fast. The rest of the course was pretty good for the time of year.
Needs a lot of work.
This course used to be nice. Well kept greens and fairways. I was there today and wow, was I disappointed. First off... it’s Sunday and no starter. Just get in line. So i teed off about 20 minutes later than my tee time. The fairways were awful. Very patchy and inconsistent types of grass. Sometimes hitting off of dirt. The rough was even worse. The ONLY thing this course had going for it were the greens. They were in fairly good shape with a few exceptions (that’s why I gave it 2 stars overall). For the same price or another 5-10 bucks, I could have played on a MUCH better course. I do not recommend playing here.
Awesome greens
The greens play was worth the price of admission. Unfortunately we got stuck behind some slow players then the guys behind us decided they were going to rush us. Saturday is not the day to play here but maybe a weekday would be good.
Still a pretty nice place to play
I used to play here pretty frequently when I lived closer. Had occasion to be nearby so thought I'd go back. The course was in pretty good shape, but I would say the greens were inconsistent. Fairways well maintained and cut tight. It's a fun course with a few unique hole layouts. I'd recommend it if you've never played it.
Very friendly and courteous staff.
Food was excellent with great service.
Poor conditions
Course is in poor shape from tee to green. Will not be back!
