Yes, playing at Northdale on the 10th of May was a big surprise, a positive surprise. Until 3 to 4 years ago my foursome played Northdale every Sunday morning. But former ownership or management let the course deteriorate to the point that grass was growing in the greenside bunkers and rough was not being mowed. I had heard rumors the course had improved and I found that to be the case big-time last Friday. Fairways were lush & the rough was penal but if you ended up in the rough you could at least find your ball & advance it forward.

The course obviously needs some work but over all for what I payed it was fair. Greens were decent and if anything needed more grass in the fairways but that seems the case at every golf course I played at the prices I paid.

No available bathrooms after hole 9. Not worth the money

I’ve played Northdale 4 times in the past 6 months. Each time I’ve played I have noticed a difference in the course. The maintenance has greatly improved the fairways and especially the greens.

Keep up the good work and I’m looking forward to returning.

I have not played this course in years. However, I'm glad I revisited Northdale! The course in excellent condition, you can tell the course maintenance employees have turned this course around. And now with new owners coming in, it's going to be interesting to see this fantastic course get even better.

Grass to greens were great.just have to get rid of the water monster that keeps grabbing my balls

conditions are great, 5 hour round on a weds is brutal though. no rangers keeping up pace, expect to spend the day out here

As the fairways and greens improve with Spring approaching the course is in good condition. We played on a Friday and pace of play was right at 4 hours. Enjoyed the course and will return.

This course has a come a long way; the course itself has been completely refurbished. Tee boxes and fairways are in great shape, and greens are coming back nicely. Bunkers could use some fresh sand. New owners have done a great job so far.

The downsides: we arrived at 3:05 for our 3:30 tee time and there was a massive wait, we didn’t tee off till slightly after 4:15. We had a 4some and 3some in front of us and there were no other 2somes so it was just us and we were waiting at most holes but obviously not the courses fault. Biggest issue was that the carts were coming in and going right back out…our first cart died on 5, our 2nd at the turn, and our 3rd cart was about to die on 13 so we just called it and went home. The practice green is great and undulated, but the rest of the warmup area/net could use some serious upgrades.

It’s clear the new owners have done a LOT of great things with the course, but better tee time spacing would alleviate a lot of issues. Will definitely be back.

I stopped playing here for the past 2 years even as it is the closest golf course to home but I've been reading better reviews and Northdale Golf Course conditions have improved significantly. Esspecially the fairways and the approach chipping areas. The greens are decent, different from before when they used to be fast, now a bit slower.

The design of the course is challenging especially where water and trees will push you to hit very accurate shots.

I definitely see improvement and when they get the greens smoother and fill in some of the sandy patches in the fairways the course will be able to return to its past greatness.

It isn't an easy course by any means.
