Kraft Farms Cotton Course
Really enjoyed the Course. Would like to see GPS enabled Golf Carts and also better course yardage markers.
Great course.
Would play here again. Well taken care of, friendly ladies in the office along with Marshall.
Likes the layout
I enjoyed playing this course. I enjoyed the front nine the best. Greens were average speed
First time Craft Farms
Staff was incredible, course was incredible. Will be returning next year.
First time here
This was my first time playing here. The course was in great condition, the staff very friendly, and for the most part had no one in front or behind us for all but 3 holes, so the pace was excellent. It was very hot and muggy and got a bit buggy at the end of the day, but I would definitely play here again.
Poor Green Conditions
Overall course conditions were fine. The greens had been aerated but not properly sanded and while they should be slow after this process they should roll reasonably. These were nowhere close and they said to use the two putt rule. News flash, I rarely three putt and have a lot of one putts from 10’ or less. Not possible at this time.
Review
A+ Service.
Tom & Bob handling the carts were the friendliest and courteous people. Hats off to them. Nothing against the rest of the staff as they too were just as friendly. Only minor issue was greens were a little sandy but still rolled well.
Great Course
If you’re in town you need to play Craft Farms and Peninsula. Two best courses in Gulf Shores.
Unsatisfied
We were be hit into on the back side, 3 of the last 5 holes, pro or assistant pro was very rude once we told them, the rest of the staff was very concerned, I was very disappointed because with the pro or assistant pro.
Nice - Conditions not as good as others in the area
We come down and play 4 or 5 rounds every year in May. This year we have played in order of best course conditions the following: Lost Key, Peninsula, Craft Farms and Kiva Dunes. Lost Key has the well deserved nickname of Lost Balls but of the four courses was in the best condition tee to green. We were a bit disappointed in Kiva and the greens at Craft Farms were very frustrating to us. By the end of the round we quit trying to read the break unless it was just obvious. The grain of the greens was the main factor it seemed to read. After playing Peninsula this AM we agreed it and Lost Key were our favorites so far. We had a group ahead of us at Craft Farms that I ended up calling the pro shop on. If one guy hit a ball in the trees all four golfers hunted until they found it. Then they sat watched that guy hit his ball before going to the next. Everyone watched everyone else. Very little ready golf. The pro shop sent a guy out who told us the group ahead had nowhere to go but we could see the course was empty ahead of them. Not a big deal but it made for a slow day. We just waited for them to get to the green before we tee'd off. We did however feel really sorry for the twosome behind us.
Great staff fine course
Played with sons and son in law. Course was in fine condition every one was great especially Paula. Will be back
Cotton creek GC
Absolutely one of the best golf courses I’ve played. I’m a hobby golfer so by no means am I good but really beautiful course and awesome staff and even better staff! Would highly recommend!

Thank you for your review of Craft Farms! We look forward to your next visit!
Awesome!!!
Pricey, but you get what you pay for… Great course to hit up on a vacation.
Staff is super friendly. Got off early as a solo and finished in less than 3 hours. Tough holes, great conditions.
Save Your Money and Frustration Level
This course recommended by friends, so opted to play this instead of returning to Perdido Bay Golf Club. Afterward, wish we had gone back to Perdido Bay. We arrived 30 minutes early only to encounter a logjam in the Pro Shop. One person attempting to check in a group of 11. Took forever during which time we were aware that other staffers were in the clubhouse but never came out to help. Wound up getting to our carts a minute before tee time with the Starter aggravated we weren't ready to go. Didn't matter anyway as a group of five were still in the fairway. Not sure how they had it spread out on the teesheet but they obviously weren't putting groups 10 minutes apart. Pace of play was slow with no marshal to keep people from playing multiple balls. Finally managed to get around the five-some at the turn and never saw them again. All going well until the 18th hole. Hit a perfect drive landed 90-yards from the green. Getting ready to hit my approach shot when interrupted by a staffer coming to inquire about my service dog. I did mention ahead when I made the reservation that I was diabetic and would be bringing the dog with me. The starter of course saw the dog and I believe I mentioned to him that she was my service dog. Got upset and flubbed my shot which is on me. No such issues at Perdido Bay which was a prettier course with better fairways and greens and priced about $50 cheaper per person - a savings of $200 for my family.
Thanks for reviewing Craft Farms! Come play again anytime!
