course feeling the heat
after a great summer of fantastic golf the course is beginning to feel the heat of summer and beginning to see a few brown bare spots. overall still great conditions. with fall upon us the leaves are beginning to hide the balls in the fairway. still a great value.
Aerated Greens
Ancil Hoffman has always been one of Sacramento's best courses with huge trees framing all fairways. The greens were aerated, so scoring was not relevant.
Did not Cancel Tee Time on Golf Now
Hello,
I put in two cancellation requests on this website more than 24 hour notice and did not get my money back. I AM NEVER using this website again since I had to change the time and got charged double. I emailed them and canceled twice and nobody got back to me. This is terrible customer service and when you call you aren't even able to get a hold of anyone. Terribly run business.
Snail Pace of Play
Round took 5 1/2 hours on a perfect weather day. The greens have been punched recently which was not communicated when booking, Fairways are in poor condition; thin patchy grass, muddy in places.
I want to like the course, but too many issues made it difficult to enjoy.
Nice course but greens were punched.
Would have given a higher score but greens were punched. Also pace of play was slow.
Over 6 hours to play a round
Took over 6 hours,the group in front of us left,n the group behind us also!this course is waynover booked,greens and fairways aerated everywhere,if you value your weekend go somewhere else or you will have the longest day of your life,and life is to short!!!!!!
Sandy Greens Golf Now Does Not Disclose
Course was punched. There was no aerification warning until after I signed up to play. Also not disclosed - only front 9 open and crowded. No refunds for hot deals. No more business with golf now...
The course is good. The wind was so bad today. Trees were cracking.
