Course will not dissapoint you
Played 30 years ago, beautiful then. I would say they have kept it pristine and well manicured. Already booked another tee time!!
Hazy Days of summer
Was a good round but the fires in No Cal have really hurt us. Tough on the eyes and lungs. I shot an 88, 5 more than my average. And that's a hard 88. Felt like 160. Course makes you earn your pars or better. I don't play it enough to be proficient here as much as I should be. It's a good long hitters challenge on a fairly level course. Greens were good, a lil slow in the morning dew, then fast by midday. Few if any putts are level.... Best to just relax and take in the wildlife that is abundant throughout the course. Bring your recovery game... You'll need a few long low curving punch shots from under the trees if you stray off fairways much. Really hard to go over trees here...
Challenge filled course
Love this course! Scenic and challenging. Great staff made the round that more enjoyable.
Classic layout
Great course, greens are good except for some ball mark issues here and there. I love that they went back to the original 14th green, uphill par 3 that is the signature hole.
Excellent Course To Play
Old style course, lots of trees, narrow fairways, have to place the ball. Play this course a few times a year as I like to play different courses. Lots of wildlife, makes for a nice tranquil setting. This course is definitely worth playing.
Enjoyable Round
The staff was outstanding. My partner was late and they fit us in when he arrived. They were so accommodating and understanding. The course was in real great shape for this time year. There are a lot of trees that line the fairways. A very enjoyable round!
Great Track
Great shape as usual. Pace of play was good and staff is great especially the gals in the restaurant. Would add to "off course amenities" but with the Virus stuff, hard to single this out. Great guys in pro shop and range as well.
