incredibly slow
slowest round of golf i have played in my life, waiting on every single shot.. the group in front of us had a full hole gap between them and the next group. I called and asked the marshall to say something 3 times, never came out to move them along. would never ever play this course again. absolute crap. The greens were also covered in sand, no fees reduction...

The course is great, little narrow next to other holes but overall good times!
Play this course
The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The course was okay and could use some TLC. Layout was moderate. I rode the course in a golf cart but next time will walk, as it is fairly flat and easy to get around. Amenities are nice, bottom line, I enjoyed this course. I recommend you "Play this course".
Very Slow
This has to be the slowest course I’ve ever played. Even midday during midweek, it was slow. The individuals in front of our group was an entire home behind. Once I hit the 4 hr mark on the 12th I decided to leave. I’m 15 mins away from this course and would rather drive an hr to another course. They really need a Marshall on this course to help keep pace
Awesome Day on the Course
Rancho has definitely make some upgrades to the place, beautiful landscapes and views and updated signs and greens were good!
Friendly with some Challenge
San Joaquin is a course that I love to play as a 90ish golfer due to the ability to find your ball even on a bad shot. Granted some holes there are some hazards or streets, it’s a great course that allows you to use every club in the bag. The full price is nothing more then what I would expect for a course in Orange County.
Some of the people I have played with have been the very nice and friendly to my pace and bad shots. I’ve really only walked the course and I’ve only waited for my aggressive approach shots and a couple minutes on the par 3s.
Overall I’d recommend this course if you can get it for around 35-50 dollars!
