Great price to golf in Irvine
Perfect weather and great location. Teeing off at blue is about 6200 yds or less but enough fun to golf with friends.
Great cours
Rancho San JJoaquin golf course is a great course. It is well maintained. Course layout is great. Staff is friendly. The price is reasonable. Pace of play was great. We finished our round in 4 hours
Respectfully, a joke
This was my home course and range, until today. I arrived at 3:57pm, waiting in line for a large bucket. As I waited in line, the cashier was smirking at me shaking his head. I asked what happened and he said we're closed at 4. I said it's not 4, he said we're closed. I said I just drove 20 minutes and would appreciate a small bucket, as I'm there everyday. He replied, "the machines are on a timer, what the $&@ do you want me to do?!". We got in an argument, in front of his other employees and guests in the proshop, and I cordially left. I have never ever seen anything like it. Immediately slammed his cashier bank and went off on me. I will never ever return. This place is an absolute joke.
Good course
Great course! Well-maintained fairways and fast greens. Will definitely come back.
Newly remodeled bar is nice
Decent track. Greens were healthy but could have been a touch faster/smoother. Not bad though. Good pace of play for teeing off after noon. Staff was nice.

I had a great experience at this golf course. The fairways and greens were well maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back again
Stinky Course
Not allowed single cart & shared with others.
Fairway wasn’t cut evenly & waters with mud with sewer urine smells. Couldn’t hit with compression bc of stinky mud might spread of me
Course can be better if they put extra effort of care!
Good Pace of Play!
I have played RSJ many times, and this was one of the faster times we have finished - 4 hours and 18 minutes! Great job RSJ.
Rancho has come a long way!
Played this corse over 100 times over the years. The pace of play was good for a Friday. Fairways and greens were in as good of shape that I’ve see them. I’d play this course again!
Slow pace and cart path only
Decent course, if you can get a deal on a time. Definitely not worth more than $70. Pace was 5 hours which isn’t the worst but it was a noon weekday tee off so you’d expect a little better. The most annoying part was how many cart path only holes there are. The course was completely dry but like 6 holes are permanently cart path only.
