Saturday at San Joaquin
Course conditions not great for the money. Greens are good though. The price tag is the only issue when comparing course conditions with others in the area. Staff is great.
Worst bang for your buck around
Absolutely the worst course for the price around. They charge a premium because they are in Irvine. There are so many better courses for the money in the area if you’re willing to drive an extra 15 mins in any direction.
Wouldn’t play again.
Was hoping for a decent course since they’re charging $100. Let me tell you… this has to be one of the worst courses in southern cali. It’s sad because the layout of great. And since it’s Irvine company they’re charging way too much for what it is. Probably to pay for their new range that they made all decent. I just can’t believe that courses now and days take full advantage of people who want to go play golf at this price point and it be a total dump. They say they’re renovating but it looked the exact same 3 years ago when I played it. Would not recommend.
Overpriced for what you’re getting
The fact that this course is charging $100 on a weekend is absolutely ludicrous. The course conditions have gotten worse since I last played a few weeks ago. Massive divots on the greens, muddy and punched fairways, sub par tee boxes, & inconsistent sand in the bunker. The pace of the greens were probably the best part of the course.
Ground Under Repair
This course has so much potential. It’s beyond frustrating how many holes are cart path only in addition to the ground under repair. This has been going on for 10 years. The price for course conditions is not even close. You can pay $50 for much nicer courses. Hoping y’all can get it together bc there’s a lot of closer options that deliver.
Improved, still some work to go.
Many non turf things have been improved. Chipping areas need work in places. Tees need to be leveled. Greens are excellent. Front nine pop was good, back nine was 30 minutes longer. Saw a marshall but he did nothing.
Slow but fun track.
It was a slow day probably a 5 1/2 hour round. That being said, the course was in great condition. Greens were consistent, rolling at about a 6, but consistent! Fairways could use some work but they were good as well! Everything else was great!
Great price to golf in Irvine
Perfect weather and great location. Teeing off at blue is about 6200 yds or less but enough fun to golf with friends.
