Crowded Course
I used to play here a lot many many years ago. First time back in about 10 years. It is even more crowded than ever and the play is slooooooow. The geese are still there and so is their poop. haha
Don’t waste your time or money
T’d off at 6:03a, for $89, notes:
- no tee box setup on 1, placing tee box as we hit
- no tee box setup on 2, guy was still on hole 1 setting up
- sprinklers on hole 3, 10 people in fairway doing work
(Called pro shop and asked if they’re even open, gentleman said “just hit into them passed the sprinklers, they’ll move”) weird.
- multiple bare spots on fairways on front 9
- THEY SPRAYPAINT THEIR DEAD GRASS, do not set your equipment on it, my shoes and headcovers are stained with paint
Course continues to fall apart. You can spend a tad more and play Talega, or spend less at CMCC and have a way better experience. This place is a waste of a course unfortunately.
Lots of folks out there.
Pace of play wasn’t the best. LOTS of people out there, not sure if it was kids night or just twilight golf, but there were plenty of folks enjoying the weather. Course was in pretty good shape, the geese weren’t too much of a problem. I would play here again.
Convenient Course
Fun course for mid to upper handicap players. Fairways are choppy but an overall good value.
Saturday at San Joaquin
Course conditions not great for the money. Greens are good though. The price tag is the only issue when comparing course conditions with others in the area. Staff is great.
Worst bang for your buck around
Absolutely the worst course for the price around. They charge a premium because they are in Irvine. There are so many better courses for the money in the area if you’re willing to drive an extra 15 mins in any direction.
