San Joaquin
This course is in need of a serious make over. T boxes were barely noticeable, fairways were extremely rough and soggy. I hit a beautiful second shot on a par 5 and when my ball landed I saw a huge splash!! Greens aren’t very nice. Extremely poorly maintained!
Won’t go back. And I shot a 69!!!
Costa Mesa country club is a much better value!!
Rancho San Joaquin September 2020
We were delayed 30 min for tee off. Out of carts was one reason. The course had large areas with little grass, while other areas had very tall sections of grass Lots of muddy areas. The greens were OK but lots of ball marks.
Played in 4 1/2 hours.
Not a good value
The course is in poor condition, there are very limited amenities, including food or beverage. Staff was difficult to understand. Worst of all, we had to wait 20 minutes for our reserved tee time!
I'm sure it's been better--we just hit a bad day.
PLUS tee boxes are nearly impossible to find unless you are playing blues
Waste of money Poor condition Do not recommend
I think I paid $45 around there. Friday morning walking. You cant walk because courses are muddy and water puddle everywhere. Look like they intended to leave it that way. Poor maintenance. They need to lower the price or keep the fair way decided and separate rough and hazard. Their rough is almost like hazard. You cant find the ball If ball lands in Random rough.
I had to play like in this war zone for 4 and half hours.
If you are 100 and up , dont care for the quality play here. Otherwise dont plat here. I rather stay watch pga golf at home
Good deal
The green fees are affordable compared to most other options in OC and the course is OK. It is also close enough to the beach that temperature is usually not to hot.
Play golf inside public park , no maintenance
Wet and mud everywhere no take care bunkers
No marshals . We finished 9th but 10th tee box
New group start teeing off they don’t care very very bad golf course . No maintenance golf course !!!
Slower than slow
Unless you have all day and lots of patience, dont play this course. Why people need to take 10 to 15 minutes on the green is beyond me. 3 hour course is taking 5 hours
