Had a group of 2 that got paired up with another group and forced to play a 5-some at 440. Took way to long, barely got to the back 9
Fun Friday golf
For the price, and the location, we had an absolutely fun time. Playing with two other golfers intimidate me, but it was worth it.
Course not in great shape
The fairways were pretty awful, but the greens were amazingly nice. I think the geese and squirrels have taken over. Lots of bird poop. There are no rakes so the bunkers are a mess. The place is neglected except for the greens. There weren't many people playing so the pace was great. We've played there in better days. Got a good deal--otherwise would be bummed.
Good course for beginners
Not the greatest course conditions. You could find better elsewhere for $20-30 bucks more. However, for beginners, this is a good place to sharpen your skills. The Players Club seems like a great program. Worth the price if you visit the driving range regularly.
My covid-19 round
First time back here since late February. The booking software was different, but didn't offer prepaid tee times. Paid in the pro shop. Cashiers were behind clear barriers and the POS was contact less.
Pace of play was a 4 hour pace...thx to the pandemic. Course is in the same condition that it always seems to be. Greens are rolling just fine, but fairways have the typical drainage issues or dried out areas.
Staff was friendly and I felt safe out there on the course. No trash cans on the course so please take your trash with you. Mask are required. Please wear them. Snack bar seemed open, but I bring all my own snacks and drinks.
Awful !!!! Everything is awful - don’t play here
Fairways are dry - rough is long - greens and hard and dry - dirt sports everywhere - rocks in play - no yardage makers - staff was unfriendly - started asked me three times for my tee time when I walked by him to hit balls on the range!!! I’m not a scratch golfer but this course was not worth $44 dollars. Ohh almost forgot since I’m left handed I was told I could only hit on the far left or far right on the range!!! When there were plenty of open mats. Btw the range was dry !!! Shocking I know , old range balls some cracked that’s normal they said. Just overall experience was awful. Wouldn’t play if it was free that’s how bad it was
Rude Staff and Peer Pressuring
Played yesterday and the course was great, greens were tough and overall good pace of play.
My frustration is with this staff friendliness where the two people in the clubhouse, were trying to pressure me from getting 4 golf carts to help social distance. From one employee, he asked me "if I really need 4 carts?" with a tone that I don't believe he asked others and then after I paid the other employee asked me "Do you really need it?".
Honestly, I don't understand two people can be insensitive to a global pandemic. Shame on both of them for trying to guilt someone because they won't have enough carts. Very rude.
Affordable Golf
This course is very average however relatively affordable for the Orange County area
Awful course - awful course conditions
First the $44 dollar fee is crazy for this course. Every hole had dry fairways , dirt patches and over grown ruff.
The geese out numbered the golfers 10-1 and the amount of goose crap you have to walk by shows how bad they keep up with the maintenance.
Tee boxes where okay , need to update the tee markers. Greens in okay shape .
The driving range was by far the worst- old balls old mats just look else where before golfing here
Horrible Value
Course was in terrible shape for how expensive the round was. Greens were alright, but the rest of the course was in terrible shape. Dirt for fairways, puddles in the rough, etc...
Needs lots of TLC
I heard that the course might be sold. That might explain why the course is in such sad shape. If it’s not for sale then shame on management for allowing it to be in the condition it’s in.
Nice layout, but fairways are poor. Greens have been well maintained in the past, but not so much now. I hope it’s not for sale and the condition improves.
First and last
For the average hack this is your place, if your a 5 handicap or better this is a cow pasture. Greens are sloped with divots everywhere not fun at all
