Needs lots of TLC
I heard that the course might be sold. That might explain why the course is in such sad shape. If it’s not for sale then shame on management for allowing it to be in the condition it’s in.
Nice layout, but fairways are poor. Greens have been well maintained in the past, but not so much now. I hope it’s not for sale and the condition improves.
First and last
For the average hack this is your place, if your a 5 handicap or better this is a cow pasture. Greens are sloped with divots everywhere not fun at all
Never in great condition, worse now
With rumors about a pending sale of the golf course it appears that they have stopped putting any money into course maintenance! Fairways were shabby and rough was high. Greens were slow. Only saving grace was it was open!
I would only recommend this course to someone if they could get a reduced green fee.
Cheap
Decent layout, greens can be tough . Fairways r just bad .
glad to be playing again
can’t say this is accurate review, because of Covid
I enjoyed being back, was the course great ? no but was it in pre Covid shape I don’t know. Enjoyed plentiful wildlife, nice greens
falsely advertised!
the course had no electric carts and this was guaranteed with our reservation. they then had no pull carts to rent. grass hadn't been cut in a long time. rough was 6 inch high and we lost several balls as a result. unable to buy food or drinks! bad experience. the guys in the pro shop were helpful! no score cards were available!
It’s early
When you’re ball can’t be found in the rough that doesn’t make for a good round. Every player in my foursome had to take drop. I’m sure in time they’ll get the course back to normal.
just reopened
Great to be back playing golf
Golf Now said there are carts NO CARTS
Mentioned to starter after round, that I thought it would be helpful if they mowed a path thru rough and path between holes for walkers. Rough is quite long in areas, OK for degree of difficulty but hard and messy to walk thru. Enjoyed all the spring time baby geese
Covid 19 golf
Difficult time for all us golfers... The course was fun design. They haven't mowed in a long time. fairways were long and tee boxes also. But if you were 2 feet off the fairway, your ball is gone. It still felt so good to get out and play and thank you to the staff for staying open.
Waste of money
Total waste - dead animals on the course, the fairway was more rocks and dirt than grass, the pace of play was awful (two groups backed up behind one tee box for maybe 5-7 holes). The course is in decline, and we won't be returning - such a shame because it used to be my favorite.
The fairway grass is not well maintained. A lot of area, no grass at all. The distance for par 5 are all very short
Not what I expected
I booked a tee time for 3 people originally. On the day of our round, one of the golfers was sick and couldn’t play. When we arrived, I let the person at the pro shop know, he said no problem and I proceeded to purchase $280 worth of rounds, merchandise and rental clubs. Today I get an email saying I’m being charged an extra $43 for the no show. This course wasn’t worth the $43 round to begin with, let alone the extra $43 for someone who didn’t even show. I would not recommend this course to anyone.
