Woodcreek Golf Club

This course is a great round for all skill levels. Driveable par 4s, 220 yard par 3, tons of punishment and tons of reward. Each cart is equipped with a GolfLogix gps device that helps you navigate the course. It's a perfect balance of creativity and challenge. There is not a single cut and dry boring hole on this course. You must drive it well, avoid the tricky rough and avoid immense punitive waste areas. Enjoy the gorgeous greens and excellent facilities.

This is my home course, so I know the course very well. The fairways and greens are in great shape at this time. They have added new ball washers recently and are continuing to make aesthetic improvements. They do need to put sand in the bunkers as most are in rough shape. They also need to add many rakes to those same bunkers when they get some sand.

The staff is excellent and friendly.

Greens were in good shape, fairways were a little rough but for being in the middle of a drought they were fine. Pace was slow but it was not from overbooking, it was the slooooowwww! threesome in front of us.

Apparently, due to the overnight rain(?), the rough had not been mown. Thus, any ball just off the fairway was difficult to find. Greens and fairways okay. Do not forget to get your $5 cart key deposit back after the round. The golf course will certainly not remind you and pocket it as profit.

I was disappointed with this course. almost 5 hour round. first I've had playing all the other roseville/ foothill courses. half the greens are like postage stamps, but in good shape. most of the holes are set up so you can't really be aggressive. Laying is almost a must. Half the holes have large areas of just dirt, haven't really seen this at courses before.

Most disappointing was that they just accepted a 5 hour round, even told me that was "pretty good."

there are just to many better options for the same price or cheaper.

Course was 8/10 condition due to random bald spots in fairways and near greens, plus one week old arrification.
Bands spots had been recently seeded and once grown in will make this course a great value.

Had to play the back nine twice as they were punching the greens but found out about it when I checked in... Fairways were patchy, some sections bone dry others flooded, had to play mud balls. I'd give it a month or two before trying it again.

The greens rolled great and held their line. As a golfer if the greens are good it's all good. An all around good course.

The pace of play was excellent ,and would play again

I like the challanges that this coures has to offer.
It will be fun to play this course the second time because of the blind holes you need to learn.
The sand traps need a little more sand.
The greens were awesome and soft.

...Excellent course great value for the money. All holes are unique and can be challenging depending on the skill level of the golfer.

Love this course, but... Booked a tee time and when we got to the course we found out the back nine fairways had been aerated 3 weeks ago. They are coming along slowly. Lots of standing water on the back nine in the fairways as well as no carts in the fairways.

This is a fairly challenging course if you have not played it. They have GPS in the carts which is a big help. I like this course overall. And I'd play again.

Cons- Over watered, especially for drought conditions. Way too much mud for mid July. Also, I'd say it's a tad over priced. But that also meant the course wasn't packed...

Many fairways restricted for carts due to overseeding. Geese and their mess was very bad on fsirwsys and greens. Only worth plaing at discounted prices.

paid full price and the back 9 was cart path only. They had reseeded and heavily watered the fairways. Any ball hit in the fairway stopped immediately due to seeds and water stopping any roll. Then trying to hit off that surface was even worse. Maybe in a couple months it will be good to play but for now stay away.

Course was a bit wet in some fairways. Other then that it played great.

Hot day 100 degrees! Considering that the course wasn't up to their normal good condition but the ground crew were working hard to improve it. Only disappointed was their GPS system is really poor. Bring your own system. I really like their driving range and there bar and food was really good. I'll be back!

The fairways were way too wet carts were destroying the grass just by applying the brakes

Being new to the area ,and wanting to play all the local courses in Sacramento, Roseville area, I tried Woodcreek.. This was a great experience,loved the how the course meandered through old oaks ,and gave you the feeling of being away from the hurried world nearby. If Woodcreek were the only course in the area I would be a member.
