Cinnabar Hills Golf Club - Canyon/Mountain

For the first time playing here the pace of play was a little slow (5.5 hours) but the vistas on the canyon coarse was amazing. The fairways are good and the greens are quick. All in all I had a great day.

Greens mostly recovered from maintenance. Bone dry turkey sandwich.

The Course has a great practice area to warm up . The greens are very fast and you always come back to the club house after 9 holes. The refreshment card comes out often. The Course has great views ( 9th hole on canyon) . You have to play this golf course.

Very challenging and fun track! Hilly long hazards between Tee to Fairway on lots of holes on Canyon - Lake Courses, messes with your head so if you can't confidently drive 150-200 yds on target you're losing lots of balls or dropping 3's. So not for beginners, you'll need a "Driver's" license. Fast hilly greens too so 3-putts are common if you can't read it correctly.

Generally the course conditions were good.

A few comments. People must fix their pitch marks. The tee boxes have been overseeded and will take time for it to heal.

The bar closed at 8pm too early in my opinion.

Greens were in good shape the fairways were genrally good but all players need to fill the divots.

It was a good day out there and enjoyable.

My cart died on the 17th tee box so I had to walk the last two holes but that was really the only negative. Carts have GPS which is good because cell service is spotty at best. Don’t go off the pin numbers though as they were quite different from my range finder a few times. Really good layout. Not for the beginner golfer. This course is a real challenge and can make for a long day if you’re not to a certain standard.
