Cinnabar Hills Golf Club - Canyon/Mountain

Generally the course conditions were good.

A few comments. People must fix their pitch marks. The tee boxes have been overseeded and will take time for it to heal.

The bar closed at 8pm too early in my opinion.

Greens were in good shape the fairways were genrally good but all players need to fill the divots.

It was a good day out there and enjoyable.

My cart died on the 17th tee box so I had to walk the last two holes but that was really the only negative. Carts have GPS which is good because cell service is spotty at best. Don’t go off the pin numbers though as they were quite different from my range finder a few times. Really good layout. Not for the beginner golfer. This course is a real challenge and can make for a long day if you’re not to a certain standard.

The greens are too fast. I hit a putt two inches and it went 16 feet. After a while, you have to lag everything, including 3 foot putts. The course is tough enough from tee to green, it doesn't need this added difficulty.

The course is well taken care of.the food at the restaurant was delicious and both me and my friend enjoyed it.the staff at the golf course was very helpful and we had no problem with tee time being on time.the course is challenging and me and my friend would recommend it to anybody that plays golf.

Everything about this place is top notch. Challenging but fair layout. Course is in great condition. A couple tee boxes were a little bare, but you could tell they are working on improvements. I will definitely be back soon!

Greens are sandy and slow. Can't wait for them to get back to 11-12. Course is in Great shape.

Cinnabar is not the only course that does not tell players ahead of time that they airated, punched or sanded their greens. Just seems a simple, 'player considerate' thing to do.

Still one of the better courses around ...

Best public course in South Bay, one of the best in Bay Area. Great value for the money. You would be hard pressed to find a better public course anywhere. I give Cinnabar top marks on all of the following:

1) Layout - varied, interesting, challenging.

2). Fun course to play. - requires a lot of interesting shots, using a lot (or all) of the clubs in your bag

3). Course is always maintained in excellent condition, greens are slick but roll perfect, bunkers in great condition

4) very challenging but fair, not over the top challenging where you get beaten up. Be smart and honest and play the right tees for your game.

5) Has three nines (27 holes) which they mix and match, each nice with a different feel, thus enhancing the variety

6) Very scenic with some fantastic views

7) Green fees are very reasonable, hard to beat the price for what you're getting here.

It’s my third time playing here course is in good shape but the greens r very fast and hard to read. Place of play is good didn’t wait at all for any hole
