The Greens were perfect
First time playing in Cinnabar Hills with original tee time at 8:30 but the starter were nice enough to move up my tee time since I arrived a bit early. Played Lakes and Mountain course, the conditions were phenomenal. Rental clubs were decent, weekend with rentals, balls, gloves, and 8am green fees totaled about 265USD. Members suggest to play Cannon course if given the chance!

Not Easy But Beautiful Track
Greens, fairways, and bunkers in very good shape. A lot if elevation and very tight fairways. Not a track for a weekend duffer. Very nice practice facility with three practice greens and a chipping area. Club House includes a golf museum with PGA Major Trophies, bar,cafe style restaurant, and a too go bar/grille.

Canyons 9 poor value
I played the front nine Mountain and back nine Canyon courses. The front was a fair test of golf and good conditions. The back nine Canyon course is a perfect example of a golf course being forced into topography that doesn’t work. I will not return if I have to play that set of 9.

Great Course!
First time playing Cinnabar (Canyon/Lake). Can't believe we never knew about this gem! Course was challenging but NOT unfair. It rewarded good shots and, rightfully so, penalized errant ones. Course was in immaculate condition. Great scenic course tucked in the hills, and great facilities (the clubhouse museum is worth strolling through). We will definitely be back.. and back.. and back!!

The fairways are looking good but they still need to get some water on the greens. They are still recovering from being aerated but they are so hard.
