Willowick Golf Course

Course is decent. A lot of holes and mud. You will wait 15 minutes just to hit if you are behind a 4 some. No one fixes their holes on the green. People will not let you play ahead, depends if they are nice or just arrogant.

What do you expect? This is a muni with very, VERY fair rates. Pretty solid greens and a nice staff. Carts were clean. I will be back at this rate.

This was our first attempt at playing Willowick and it will be our last. Homeless people wandering around all over the course. Literally while we were on the 10th tee box someone was tagging (graffiti) a wall behind us staring us down. Course was muddy and in bad shape. Homeless camped out in the only bathroom on the course. They ran out of range balls by 8:30am. Overall a very tight course where tee boxes are literally 10 yards from greens. I got hit in the mouth with an errant shot. Avoid this place at all costs.

Super cool, easy course with tricky protected greens by bunkers and some longer trees. Super straight and wide fairways. Recommended course for the money and for beginner golfers.

Course is playable, but not much more than that. Tee boxes were decent, greens were ok, but often times, swampy, cart path goes off into mud/dirt/just stops. Unintentional sand traps in the middle of fairways (very dead grass), etc. freeway construction immediately adjacent to the course is very noisy. This would be close to my last choice in OC.

This is an entry level 18 hole course. They got 2 Tee boxes and they are pretty close to each other. Majority of the holes is dead straight. Course needs a lot of TLC. Driving range was on wild grass. You can't beat it for the price with Cart which was under $30 bux.

The course looks and plays like the oldest course in OC. The tee boxes are terrible, maybe a 2, the fairways are bare and grass is most crab grass. The greens are very nice, roll true and friendly for a first time golfer. Strong 7 and would be higher if the golfers would fix their divots on the green. It’s cheap $ and the course plays that way. Easy and wide open for beginners

I had been to Willowick once about a month ago and I liked the course. It has some nice long holes and if you can hit fairly straight you will enjoy your day. There is no clubhouse do to Covid, so no big deal there. We had to wait 25 minutes to get golf balls to hit on the really beat up driving range, but again no big deal as long as I can hit. They appeared to be very short staffed on this day for sure. Many golfers gathered in the parking lot to complain about this part...We paid for 18 holes and when we got to hole 10 we were told to finish the hole and go turn in the carts as, because it was Labor Day, they were closing early. I have no real problem with that, but why not have us play 9 holes instead of letting us pay for 18? Especially when we had to wait for group of 5 in front of us at each hole. The groups behind us only golfed 9 and 8 holes. The golf course, I like, but I will never go again later in the day. I thought that I would get over it, but hours later that's still all that I am thinking about. I just got a text from the 3 friends with me and they are even madder than I am. :(

Don’t waste your time here . Never seen a course this bad. I get Covid and all but my god this place has turned into a dump.

This is a very easy course compared to others. However there is a ton of trash on fairways, graffiti at every hole, fairways that are mud pits or could be considered a rough. The only redeeming factor is this course is mostly straight and wide fairways. Golf somewhere else.
