About
Located just 20 minutes from downtown in the Forest Hills section of Tampa, Babe Zaharias Golf Course meanders through a tree-lined residential neighborhood. The golf course measures a modest 6,020 yards, but should not be taken lightly. Although both nines on "The Babe" are par 35, the back side sports four par-4 holes in excess of 400 yards, providing a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

good track for the money
got around in three hours, fifteen minutes
played black tees(which is 5900+yds. @ 119 slope); there are some challenging par 4s (#16 requires a stick-straight drive of 250+yds. - if you want a clear 150 yd.shot to the elevated green)(#13 is another 400+ yd,, dogleg left, with approach a forced carry over a lake)(#18 is 400+yd dogleg right, with mature oaks & OB running down entire right side; there is also a pond on left - so a slight, long fade is ideal)(#2 is similar to @18 - except no water; there is OB on both sides, but the real challenge is the tall Oak @ corner of dogleg)
I like the course; I would hope players would do more to rake their bunker tracks, fill their divots, and repair their ballmarks
Difficult Layout, Decent Conditions
Played from the back tees for yardage, but I don’t recommend. Course has some very challenging layouts that make it difficult if your first time. Fairways and greens were in good shape, rough and elsewhere were not great.
For the price, it’s worth trying once.
Great round
Staff was great, very welcoming. I was playing as a single so the starter went out of his way to get me off the back 9 to avoid the wait. The front desk was also great, very knowledgeable went out of her way to explain the course to ppl which I thought was a nice touch.
Good condition
The condition of the course made for an enjoyable round.
Love the course
We always have a good time here. Course is in good shape. Pace was a little slow but okay.
Great course; Challenging, yet fun
The course conditions were perfect. We started off a little slow but things picked up and we finished the round around 3.5 hours. They didn't have a ton of facilities on the course and we didn't see any cart girl if there was any. Greens were in great shape and I had a great time golfing.
It's a nice course with just enough challenges to make it both rewarding and frustrating.
Enjoyable course
Course is enjoyable to play from tee box to green. Best conditioned course I've played in months.
Challenging Layout
Challenging layout. Open, but several shots must carry significant water. Fairways a bit rough and greens were very slow. All in, a lovely day in spite of my poor golf game.
Beautifully maintained and well laid out course
We had a great round. The course was challenging and fun. We will be back!
