About
Located just 20 minutes from downtown in the Forest Hills section of Tampa, Babe Zaharias Golf Course meanders through a tree-lined residential neighborhood. The golf course measures a modest 6,020 yards, but should not be taken lightly. Although both nines on "The Babe" are par 35, the back side sports four par-4 holes in excess of 400 yards, providing a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

First Time
Booked through GOLFNOW hot deal. Short and narrow track. #7 & #13 need your full attention. Greens are good. Fairways spotty need some attention. Just enough water to kick this course to "somewhat challenging."
Greens were all in great condition and excellent to putt on. Fairways also in great shape, nice green grass to hit off. Don't recall any holes that had issues. Off fairway conditions were just ok, sandy in spots, lots of leaves. I felt there were some trees that needed trimming, especially when they interfered with a shot from the middle of the fairway. Great value course to play.
Very basic course
Played this course for the last course on our Florida trip. 6000 yards from the tips, par 70. Has some interesting holes, fairways were in ok shape, greens slow but in nice shape, rough was just dirt. Carts were basic. Golfed at 8:30 am and golfed in 3 hours. After all the water trouble on the other courses we played it was nice to just relax and play an easy course that allowed some birdies and a decent score.

Overall course in good condition. But they use to many chemicals/fertilizers near the greens and on the greens. Take a hand sanitizer to use during the round!!
Nice course
Haven't played here in awhile but still remembered most of the holes. Only has 2 oar 5s but some long par 4s make up for it. Course was in pretty good condition and the greens ran true. Would recommend to play

In absolutely amazing shape. Grew up playing the Babe and just hadn’t played in years because it used to not be in great condition. Not anymore. One of the better courses in Tampa now!

Pleasantly surprised by this municipal course. Fairways, tees, traps and tees were really nice. Roughs were sketchy but not good anywhere these days. Back nine had some tough holes and required good shot making. Had good company and the staff were great
