About
Located just 20 minutes from downtown in the Forest Hills section of Tampa, Babe Zaharias Golf Course meanders through a tree-lined residential neighborhood. The golf course measures a modest 6,020 yards, but should not be taken lightly. Although both nines on "The Babe" are par 35, the back side sports four par-4 holes in excess of 400 yards, providing a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

It's coming around for a Muni
The course is seeing some big improvements. I play there because it's close to home and affordable. They have done a great job on the greens, and the fairways on the back side are better than I've ever seen them.
Almost perfect
The course is nice, however, they allow walkers on the course which slowed the pace of play. Additionally, there was a five some in front of the walkers.
Pleasantly surprised
First time playing the course and was very pleasantly surprised at the course conditions, rate of play, and course overall. The fairways and greens were extremely well taken care of! If you’re like me and spend a decent amount of time not on the fairway, it could get a little sandy, dirty, and tough to play off, but all the more reason to play safe and smart and stay on the fairways; if only it was that easy :)
Great value as well, will definitely be back!
We like this course, but...
My buddies and I play this course about every 45 days and really like it. Course in good shape. The only downside to this round was catching up to a fivesome, which meant standing around on the tee for several holes on the back nine. In fairness to management, I don't know if they let a fivesome go or if the golfers joined up on the course. Whatever, it was a mild nuisance on an otherwise very enjoyable day.
We'll return to "The Babe"
Very nice course. Some very tough holes. Lay out was great. Practically had the back nine to ourselves. Plan to return soon!
Great Layout
Really nice fairways, sand traps well raked. Challenging layout. Greens were sanded and effected putting speed. Enjoyed this course, no woods like most courses in the area.
Short but challenging
Fun course, greens a little slow but very playable. Definitely will play it again
Good course for the money.
Tee boxes and greens were in pretty good shape especially for this time of year. Definitely worth the money, short course played from the tips. Greens are slow but consistent, only one of the 18 greens was in not so good of shape.
