About
Located just 20 minutes from downtown in the Forest Hills section of Tampa, Babe Zaharias Golf Course meanders through a tree-lined residential neighborhood. The golf course measures a modest 6,020 yards, but should not be taken lightly. Although both nines on "The Babe" are par 35, the back side sports four par-4 holes in excess of 400 yards, providing a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

Good conditions and value
Fairways and greens in great condition plus played in just over 3 hours! Also very friendly staff!
Babe’s Golf Course
This course is far better than I expected. The fairways and tee boxes were well maintained. The greens were a little slow. Will play this one again
Low Price
Paid less than 5 for a round here with promo. It was colder day manager started me on the back nine which is much harder than the front no driving range to warm up. So struggled and got stuck behind a 3some after they let me play through played much better some holes are designed well most are pretty straight forward. Some holes have the worse water hazards so challenging for a new golfer like myself but will definitely play again.

Paired with 2 regular players at Babe who were great golf companions.

Hit your shots
This is a great track in a grand old neighborhood. You have to hit shots and make putts just like any other course.
First Time In a Long Time`
First time in a long time that I played the Babe. Carla was there and was great seeing her and knowing that she was doing good. Had great time playing with my partners. Three of us shot int he 80s..........
Poor conditions
Fairways were ok but everywhere else was very poor..
Ok city course
Not a bad course. In better shape than it usually is. And greener. I play Rogers Park probably more. I have wondered if Rogers Park has a bigger budget. When i play at Rogers there is ALWAYS guys out working on the course. I don’t remember EVER seeing any one working on the babe. And it shows.
The Babe
This is my home course for some cheap practice. Tampa’s municipal courses are Eh at best. Babe is just long enough , cheap , and some days quick. As of right now the fairways and greens are in good shape . Worth the $20
Upgrade!
Played the course with a friend and we both said how great the course looks. Most of the tee boxes were in really good shape and several fairways were in perfect condition. Seems like they’re investing a good amount of money in the course as all the greens were in the best shape I’ve ever seen. I’ve played the course numerous times of the years and I have never seen the course in such great shape. The bar connected to the clubhouse is also being upgraded and so far so good. Great local course
