About
Countryway Golf Club is an executive golf course that is known for its extremely affordable rates. Situated in the heart of Westchase, it is considered one of the best values in Tampa Bay. The layout consists of eleven par-3 holes and seven par 4s. The golf course is challenging enough for more advanced golfers but it is still player-friendly enough for beginners to enjoy. The rolling terrain provides undulations in both the greens and fairways. The hills also make for some challenging putts. There is no shortage of water at Countryway Golf Club with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout.

Golfer Reviews
Facilities and staff A+! Greens, not so much
This is a gem of a course- great layout with nice mix of short and longer holes. **Greens are in rough shape currently (June/July 2024) but the rest of the course is playing great. Grab fresh and fast breakfast and a Bloody Mary for your morning round, great sandwiches for the turn or post-round enjoying the AC in the clubhouse. Staff from check in to check out is wonderfully friendly, genuinely happy to see you and so welcoming. Make no mistake - this course is a steal of a deal for a $20 round, but with that comes possibility for slow play and greens that are in rough shape - but I still think its worth the drive from Largo for this friendly gem of a course. I play here a couple times a month this spring and summer and have enjoyed every round.
Good small par 3 course
Play this course frequently. Folks are great but pace of play can by a real challenge at times.
What happened to the greens
I played this course 2 months ago and it was in pretty good shape. This time the greens are really bad. Im not sure what happened buts its pretty bad.
Stay Away From Weekends
Been a local resident that’s played at countryway for over a decade. This past Saturday was rough. Tee times stacked on top of each other and pace of play for a 2 sum was 6 hours. Some of the greens are 40% sand. This place used to be a steal for $18 and a cart for 18 holes. Now it’s $30 with no improvements. Left after 12 holes very disappointed
Simple Course, poor greens
Course was very short, 11 par 3s for example. Greens were very poor, pretty much all greens I believe had large areas of damage. This course is good however for new players, for a low handicap like myself it is not a real test - however with the greens being small it does hone in on the short game. 2 holes in particular were very short.
