About
Countryway Golf Club is an executive golf course that is known for its extremely affordable rates. Situated in the heart of Westchase, it is considered one of the best values in Tampa Bay. The layout consists of eleven par-3 holes and seven par 4s. The golf course is challenging enough for more advanced golfers but it is still player-friendly enough for beginners to enjoy. The rolling terrain provides undulations in both the greens and fairways. The hills also make for some challenging putts. There is no shortage of water at Countryway Golf Club with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout.

Good Value But Slow
Much too slow......frustrating. We left after 12.

took 5 hours to play 11 par 3 & 7 par 4. Waited 15 to 20 minutes for every shot. On #3 there were 5 groups waiting to tee off. Nice staff but we will not go back!!!!!!!!! ever !!!!!!!
Largely Overbooked
I had time to write this review waiting on Hole 7 two hours into my round on the par 3/4 course. 3 groups waiting on tees. Nice little community starter course but pace of play is obsolete.
Great value course to get better
Will help you feel like a more confident player. Such a forgiving course and great value for what you pay.
Slow play
Couse is a value and the folks are very nice and friendly. However, it should never take 2 and a half hours to play a short course. Back up on every tee box on first nine. Only played 9 holes due to time.
Expect slow play
Thank you to the course Marshall for breaking up the 6 player group(twice) plugging up the course ahead of us. Pace of play was much better after 9 when they stopped to eat. Cheers
Okay Experience
Wife and I played a 10:37 tee time. Pace of play on front 9 was horrible. Would help if course Ranger could do a bit of golf etiquette training to those that are into playing multiple balls + excessive pond ball hawking on a busy morning. I try to cut these guys some slack because management and staff are really nice people, but this course needs some TLC. Fairways are in pretty rough shape and I know that we haven't had much rain but there are some things that you could do to help the condition. Like installing cart limit and direction signs. You need to regulate golfers that park right next to the green....especially on par 3 holes. Some of these people are driving are all over, 3 feet in front of the greens, accounting for a lot of the bare spots. If someone can't walk 20 feet to their ball maybe they should take up shuffleboard. My 2 cents...
