About
Countryway Golf Club is an executive golf course that is known for its extremely affordable rates. Situated in the heart of Westchase, it is considered one of the best values in Tampa Bay. The layout consists of eleven par-3 holes and seven par 4s. The golf course is challenging enough for more advanced golfers but it is still player-friendly enough for beginners to enjoy. The rolling terrain provides undulations in both the greens and fairways. The hills also make for some challenging putts. There is no shortage of water at Countryway Golf Club with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout.

Over booked
Golfed on a Saturday &the pace on the front nine was painfully slow.. The starter was filling all the groups so everyone was a foursome
.I love this coarse but tee times are only 6 minutes apart. The price is outstanding & they make their money by packing the coarse
Disappointed.
Tee times every 6 minutes on a short course is asinine. Everyone’s already going to be waiting on the group in front of them to leave the green because the holes are 100 yards long. Stacking that many groups is a cheap money grab, resulting in us leaving after 3 hours for the front 9. Course was in decent shape-sucks we couldn’t enjoy it.
There were no carts available
I got to countryway at 245 pm and my tee time was a t 3 pm. I pay the fee and walked out to the car and there were no carts available so they gave me a raincheck for the amount i had paid already.
They should communicate more so people know if the place is packed or not.
It felt like they just wanted the money regardless whether i was able to play or not.
Poor management skills

This is the second time iBook a tee time and for some reason it get canceled what going on I will get rid of this GolfNow app and just book it by phone
Great Course
I’ve played many executive courses and this one ranks at the top. I was able to use my driver on 4 holes. The course is in great shape. Wish they had water drinking stations. Overall, it’s a great course to work on your short game, regardless of your handicap.
Great little course. Enjoy playing this course very much. .great deals also.
Way too crowded
Way too crowded, They need to set teetimes 8 to 10 minutes apart not five or six minutes we’re on top of each other and it was a long long day on the golf course. It’s not always about making money make it enjoyable for the golfers

Not bad overall but piece of play super super super slow… just sayin
Grossly Overbooked
The course was grossly overbooked. Even with the starter grouping random people to golf together. The wait to tee off was extensive and increased with each hole. The layout forced the feeling of golfing in a war zone. We were constantly covering our heads and ducking. We ultimately received our money back and left the course.
Super slow paced
The price is great, but there is no driving range and the pace was extremely slow! It took 3 hours to get through 9 holes so I left and didn’t even get to finish out the back 9. I’m a brand new golfer, but I couldn’t believe how backed up each hole was and how much people were screwing around and delaying everyone else behind them. This was disappointing and I don’t think I’ll be going back.
Weird Layout
It was so crazy busy that they ran out of carts and started pairing complete strangers up to play so instead of my husband and I playing alone we played with 2 other men. It turned out ok though. They were really nice and that part was fun. But because there was so many people, we did not even get to finish our 18 holes because it just got too late in the day. The other thing and I think this was the worst thing, the layout of some of the holes actually crossed each other and there were many times throughout the afternoon that we were literally dodging golf balls that were being hit from other holes and hitting the carts and the areas we were standing. Need a hard hat to play here.
