Rogers Park Golf Course
About
Located only minutes away from downtown Tampa, Rogers Park Golf Course offers easy access to Tampa International Airport and also the beautiful beaches of Tampa Bay. Although it has a convenient location near many attractions, it is secluded from the noise of busy streets and neighborhoods since the Hillsborough River almost completely surrounds it. The scenic golf course has water hazards coming into play on several holes and there are sand bunkers throughout. In addition to the course, Rogers Park is known for their extensive practice facilities. They boast of having one of Tampa's finest driving ranges and their three-hole course provides excellent short game practice.

Missing Player
After purchasing a round of golf for 3 players, one player did not come due to an illness. Is there anyway that his round could be refunded or used for a future purchase?
The Old Homestead
I have been playing Rogers Park for over 20 years. The improvements to the course and facilities are an excellent job headed up by TJ. Greens were exceptionally slow today. In fact had they been at regular speed that shot I made on number 8 would have been a hole in one vice a tap in birdie.
Nice Municipal
Good Municipal course to play for a deal. Greens were rough but rolled true. Patches around the fairways but more than playable just might have to roll into some grass for a better hit. Not a $40-60 course but good for a deal under 30.
Great course
Great vibes great staff. Can get busy but everyone is there to do one thing and thats play golf. Course is a little rough in areas but other wise good condition.
Course has a range, but needs work
The pace of play here was a 1/10 due to people who don’t play golf very much and don’t have etiquette. The etiquette is no where to be found. Trashed bunkers, pitch marks everywhere, unfilled divots that fill the eye. It’s kind of a free for all out there. Got stuck behind a 2-some that could barely get the ball off the tee ( just me and a buddy). They wouldn’t even acknowledge us, and there was no one in front of them. Skipped them and literally caught up to a 5some that did the same thing. Then a single skipped us as we were waiting in the T box, so we hit our drive thinking we would just play together. She picked up our ball in the middle of the fairway, cut us off, played the hole we were backed up on, then left and played another hole. Cant make this up.
If you want to set up a scramble with the boys who don’t play often, then this could be the place, you won’t have any problems here.
Course is ok shape for a budget track “ no offense to the Super, just being honest”. The greens are better than they use to be - I’ve played here before because I live in Temple Terrace and we don’t have a range, but they were unevenly cut, splotchy, and some pins were located in bad grass areas. Put your pins on some grass atleast! The range is absolutely destroyed, you are hitting off dirt, plus you get a lot of knuckle ball flights due to lies and balls. But still nice to have, and they are installing mats at the range, so that’s a plus.
Not knocking the course, just providing an honest review so people know what they are getting. Great beginner course, but ultimately a goat track.
Great layout but needs some attention.
Roger's Park is a hidden gem near downtown Tampa. The course design, pace of play and friendliness of staff are all outstanding. As a municipal course, it is a little rough in some spots. The bunkers are not well kept and the fairways have leaves that makes it difficult to find your ball at times. But the greens, though slower than typical private courses, are in quite good shape and fair. They are also home to the First Tee Organization, including a par 3 course that can be used by everyone. It is always fun to see the kids out there learning the game we love. For a no frills, fun day on the golf course, I recommend Rodger's Park.
