Rogers Park Golf Course
About
Located only minutes away from downtown Tampa, Rogers Park Golf Course offers easy access to Tampa International Airport and also the beautiful beaches of Tampa Bay. Although it has a convenient location near many attractions, it is secluded from the noise of busy streets and neighborhoods since the Hillsborough River almost completely surrounds it. The scenic golf course has water hazards coming into play on several holes and there are sand bunkers throughout. In addition to the course, Rogers Park is known for their extensive practice facilities. They boast of having one of Tampa's finest driving ranges and their three-hole course provides excellent short game practice.

Rogers Part
Course in good condition, greens great. Got behind a twosome who were hitting two shots each. On their ball so they made the round longer than it should’ve been. Why do you buy new carts with no windshields. So all the dust, dirt and rain gets on you and in the cart
Disappointing
After reading some reviews on this course I was expecting a better experience. I played early, so the pace of play was good. The course has some super tight holes and narrow fairways which require a high level of precision. The greens were in okay shape, however; the area around the greens were horrible. Short game shots were almost impossible due to patchy grass, and very sandy conditions. I primarily play a county funded course so it is not perfect, but I realized today, that I’m really fortunate to play where I do.
Nice course.
The fairways are painted Green. I thought that was unique. They played fine and I could for sure see the fairway. Greens are good.
Slow!
The pace of play was so slow we did not play the last two holes. Get a marshall please or at least a starter to help out as there are singles on the course alone and doubles not paired increasing the impact of slow play
Nice course
The course was in great shape. Greens are in great condition. Tough pin Positions today. They have brand new golf carts there now. Very nice!
Nice course for the value. Good course for the average golfer where you can generally find your ball if you are having a rough day. A few challenging holes on back 9, but very enjoyable. Give it a try.
Best Bang for the Buck
Decent course for the money. Fairways were thin, no rough just thinner green weeds. Tee boxes rough shape. Greens were ok.
Nice round good value
Played with 3 Tee Off strangers. We had an enjoyable friendly round. Low pressure great etiquette. As stated everything was fine but a little slow The company made it much less tedious. I will be back
New Carts
This course is always lots of fun.
Now that they have new carts, new benches at every hole and lots of new ball washing stations it’s even more fun.
Rogers Park
Course was in the best condition I have seen it in in the last two years. I had avoided it because of the condition and carts. It is evident that a lot of work has been done to the course. Now they need to work on those carts. One of our carts lost power in the middle of the fairway of number 9. Additionally, none of the carts have windscreens and all the carts have seat covers on them becuase the seats are so mangled and chewed up. The BIG QUESTION for me is are they going to get a new fleet of carts in by the end of April considering that the City of Tampa Balck History Committee is holding their 7th Annual Golf Tournament there........
