Desert Canyon Golf Club

First time playing here and was highly impressed!! Really loved the course and it was in excellent shape. I will definitely be back!!

I like the fact there is topography to the course, unlike the flat terrain of most courses in the area.

The setting is beautiful.

Greens are well maintained and consistent for all holes.

The course as a whole is well maintained.

Noon t off time. Arrived 11. Hit balls on range and then missed a few puts. Arrived at 1st t about 15 minutes early. One 2 some just teeing off and no one else around. Started early, the group in front of us let us play through and we were done in 3 hours. Fairways were in great shape and greens even better. The layout has multiple elevation changes and several optical challenges that are minimized once you play the course a few times. Staff have always been friendly making you feel welcome. I highly recommend

The course features a beautiful clubhouse and the course itself I see very scenic and fun to play. Even though the course just recently re-opened after damage due to weather it was in a good playable condition. The staff,were extremely helpful and pleasant. The only downside to our round was due to two ignorant males who drove past us on the sixteenth hole and then teed off backing us up when it was tight for finishing the round before dark.

They have been watering so the balls picked up quite a bit of mud...we ended up lift, clean and place.

I was really pleased. Difficult, but if your smart and play a lot of shorter clubs off the tees you will score well because the course is not that long. Although it doesn't feel short. You got to play it to understand. Great views too. Fun course!

The course was beautiful, staff attentive and friendly,we were sent out a little early. But, we waited at every hole. The ranger did try to speed up those ahead of us and there was a large group that went out in the morning- with the views and the weather the wait was bearable, but folks were getting testy by the 18th hole!! All in all, it was a good experience and we will play again.

The course was a lot of fun to play. With the remodel because of the flood, no food options yet except a hot dog, and a very small one at that. We will be back, came for the golf not the food.

Amenities were under construction. I’m sure it will be nice when complete

The course has only been open for two weeks as it has been closed since the big wind storm in July, so the tee boxes, fairways and greens are immaculate. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a slower foursome for the first few holes and were very pleased when they allowed us to play through.

Have the good tee boxes all closed for an already pretty short course?

First time, definitely need local knowledge...even with GPS provided due to green slopes and false fronts, you need to know where to land the ball...also need to know green size since several are uphill and you cant see them. Speed was excessive when coupled with slopes, chipped off two greens and putted off one. Had to play a 5 foot break on one hole on a 10 foot putt. Never heard a foursome say REALLY so many times!!! It got to be funny and became our battle cry.

Overall a good course to play at. Shorter than I anticipated, hit all 3 par 5s in 2. Hills can be deceptive, but overall this place was great! Good pace of play, friendly staff and well kept!

Super dry Play this course a couple years ago it is beautiful not sure why they're not watering it but it was extremely dry weeds everywhere and the greens were like Cement

Desert Canyon always great views and a very nice course to play

Awesome layout, good condition for this time of year. Small greens and hard to read breaks. Totally worth $25 on golf now
