Desert Canyon Golf Club

I have played this course approx 13 times and they just got off cart path...in very good shape but rates have risen...try to get twilight and save money...not worth paying am rates but a good deal in mid afternoon....

A very nice golf course. Maintainence of the course was excellent, with the greens, the fairways and the rough all cut to correct length. The bunkers were all well kept. Tee boxes well maintained.

As for playing the course, one should heed the warning given by the starter, be below the hole! There are quite a few greens with good slope and undulation. Not unfair, but being below the hole is we're you want to be when putting if possible. This added to the challenge and character of this course.

There are several great views on this course. Overall, a very enjoyable and fun course to play. I will certainly play again.

Desert Canyon was beautiful! It was very challenging enough to keep the round interesting! We will definitely return soon.

Greens were slow, and cart path only due to over seeding but still a very enjoyable round. Fantastic views and elevation changes on the golf course. Great pace of play.

I feel like giving this course 4-1/2*, as it could be a bit more challenging, and perhaps have more water features.

We found the course very fair even with the slower than average greens due to over seeded conditions. Every thing in Scottsdale needs a good mowing and after four days of play on other courses we did not expect the smooth greens at Desert Canyon. Second year on the course and we will return for the changes in elevation and good value.

Great course great shape nice staff had a enjoyable round

From the beginning I didn't feel comfortable. The starter is a crab. He couldn't take a joke, and I got the old man attitude. The day went well until the Ranger approached us for slow play. Only to find out that we are the only 4some on the course surrounded by 2s in front and behind us. Get a clue on how to send out players! You ruined our day! Your staff is going to cost you $$.

Course was in great shape for just finishing overfeeding. Never like cart path only but in AZ this time of year that's what you get. The scenery is great, and the layout interesting. A good course for cart path only. We always play this course when we come here.

Last minute choice, and even thou they only had 9 open, it fit the bill. The course was friendly to my newbie friend, and everywhere else was overseeding. Will definitely visit again!

Greens roll very nice and players actually do fix ball marks!

Greens are postage stamp and difficult.

Course is narrow and some short par 4 s that offer a risk for reward.

Fun course great staff and I would play this course again and again..

DC was in good shape for summer golf. We finished our round in just over 3 hours. Golf carts with GPS was an added bonus. I would recommend the course for any level player.

Course conditions, staff and layout are all excellent, but there is a severe lack of drinking water stops on the course.

The course is in great shape and they've taken out that nasty 6 foot bunker on 17.

Nice experience, greens are in excellent condition and have very little grain.

They have been putting a lot of water on the course so it is a little on the soft side.

Hardly any 2 holes are a like, meaning the holes are up and down and a few doglegs.

The greens are moderate in size so you need to be accurate.

We booked a last minute deal to play this course. Given the time of year (August), I was pleasantly surprised with the overall good condition of the course. This is my 2nd or 3rd time playing here and I've enjoyed it every time. The golf course is very playable, not too difficult and the scenery on many of the holes is very enjoyable. BTW, the staff were excellent from the gentleman that greeted us at the bag drop-off as well as the representative that checked us in at the pro shop.Thanks for a pleasant day.
