About
Located a short distance from Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix and Arizona State University, Kokopelli Golf Course is a championship length course that offers many interesting challenges. The rolling terrain creates sloping greens and undulating fairways. A majority of the teeboxes and greens are elevated as well. The course also has large multiple island tees and water hazards in the form of meandering lakes that come into play on several holes. The signature hole of Kokopelli Golf Course is the par-5 18th hole. The dramatic finishing hole calls for a shot off an elevated too followed by an approach shot past water to an elevated green.

Mud
A lot of mud on the first nine we should have be informed before our reservation
Don't do it!
% hours..too long. No Marshals..garbage cans overflowing. Yikes..like no one works there??

This course is definetly on the way back
My friend and I avoided this course for along time when it when way down hill a few years back. We started playing it again about a year ago when we found out it was under new management.
The first couple times the course was still rough in a few places but tee to green was good. This last time we played, the course is in excellent condition with the exception of a few tee boxes that could be more level.
The greens are in amazing shape and very true although whoever set the pin locations on this day must hate golfers :). they were brutal. The fairways are the best I have seen them in a long time and they seem to be getting the mud situation in check. Still a few spots, but nothing that bothered us.
It's funny but the last three times we played this the first time we saw the beverage cart was coming up the 9th hole. Not sure if this is because we get out so early or not.
Overall, Kokopelli is back in our regular rotation. We love the layout and the improvements that have been made over the last couple years are really showing what a jewel this place was "back in the day".
I am so glad they brought this course back and thank you to whoever put in the effort.

Great value for the money. Course is in great shape. Front nine was quick playing but got backed up by hole 15. ( there were 3 groups of 2 in front of us that were very slow. Other than that I'd play it again for sure!

Great layout and very picturesque. Fun track to play however could work on some of the patch areas and the sand traps. Will be back

Just coming over overseed and a fresh cut. The course is a night and day difference than house it looked over the summer.

I booked 18 hoes but I will only able to play nine due to not being able to drive up to my ball and hit it I have a surgically repaired knee. Driving up to my ball would have been helpful.
Playable after Overseeding
Course was in good condition except the greens were quite slow.

Enjoyable round. Friendly pro shop staff. Would have appreciated being advised prior to booking that the course had just been over seeded and it was cart path only. Still great. Alice for the money.

Do not recommend this course to anyone
After we tee'd off on hole two, the marshal approached us and told us to speed up our pace because we were too slow. After we finished hole two we were waiting for the group ahead of us to tee off, so my group and I were extremely confused. At the turn around we stopped to get a drink and some food. Once we got our stuff, we headed to the carts to head to hole ten but then got stopped by another marshal to hurry up because we're slowing down the groups behind us. After tee'ing off on ten, we were stuck in the fairway for about 5 mins because the group ahead of us were still on the green. The marshals there were very rude and assumed we were the problem. The cost to play there was way too much for the quality of the course. I do not recommend this course to anyone.
