About
Located a short distance from Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix and Arizona State University, Kokopelli Golf Course is a championship length course that offers many interesting challenges. The rolling terrain creates sloping greens and undulating fairways. A majority of the teeboxes and greens are elevated as well. The course also has large multiple island tees and water hazards in the form of meandering lakes that come into play on several holes. The signature hole of Kokopelli Golf Course is the par-5 18th hole. The dramatic finishing hole calls for a shot off an elevated too followed by an approach shot past water to an elevated green.

Great value for the money. Course is in great shape. Front nine was quick playing but got backed up by hole 15. ( there were 3 groups of 2 in front of us that were very slow. Other than that I'd play it again for sure!
Great course
Great layout and very picturesque. Fun track to play however could work on some of the patch areas and the sand traps. Will be back

Just coming over overseed and a fresh cut. The course is a night and day difference than house it looked over the summer.

I booked 18 hoes but I will only able to play nine due to not being able to drive up to my ball and hit it I have a surgically repaired knee. Driving up to my ball would have been helpful.
Playable after Overseeding
Course was in good condition except the greens were quite slow.

Enjoyable round. Friendly pro shop staff. Would have appreciated being advised prior to booking that the course had just been over seeded and it was cart path only. Still great. Alice for the money.

Do not recommend this course to anyone
After we tee'd off on hole two, the marshal approached us and told us to speed up our pace because we were too slow. After we finished hole two we were waiting for the group ahead of us to tee off, so my group and I were extremely confused. At the turn around we stopped to get a drink and some food. Once we got our stuff, we headed to the carts to head to hole ten but then got stopped by another marshal to hurry up because we're slowing down the groups behind us. After tee'ing off on ten, we were stuck in the fairway for about 5 mins because the group ahead of us were still on the green. The marshals there were very rude and assumed we were the problem. The cost to play there was way too much for the quality of the course. I do not recommend this course to anyone.

Pleasantly Surprised
I had family coming to town the first week of October and knew it was going to be tough finding a place to play with all the courses that would be overseeding..I'm in a couple Az golf groups on Facebook and have seen Kokopelli being bashed time and time again in the forums so my expectations were low as I secured a 6:31 "9 and Dine".. they were getting ready for overseed the next day but the course was very playable.. I expected dirt lies in the fairway and horrible greens but that was far from the case... We had an extremely enjoyable time and the breakfast was amazing... Will definitely be back.

Rouge gardener
The was way too much course mowing and blowing. We teed off after 8am. T box mowing and green maintenance should've been long done by the time we got the course. Poor management.

Rough
Roughs on some holes have zero grass. Greens have crabgrass on them close to the fringe.
Conditions
The course is not in great shape, but can't beat it for the price.

IT'S GOING DOWNHILL
THE COURSE WAS SOGGY AND WET AND PUDDLES OF MUD ON THE CART PATHS. IF FROM RAIN, IT RAINED TWO WHOLE DAYS BEFORE WE PLAYED. DRAINAGE IS BAD. GREENS WERE PRETTY GOOD. BUT THIS COURSE IS NOT TOO CONDUCIVE TO SENIORS RIDING BECUASE THERE IS A LOT OF WALKING ANYWAY.
