About
Located a short distance from Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix and Arizona State University, Kokopelli Golf Course is a championship length course that offers many interesting challenges. The rolling terrain creates sloping greens and undulating fairways. A majority of the teeboxes and greens are elevated as well. The course also has large multiple island tees and water hazards in the form of meandering lakes that come into play on several holes. The signature hole of Kokopelli Golf Course is the par-5 18th hole. The dramatic finishing hole calls for a shot off an elevated too followed by an approach shot past water to an elevated green.

Terrible course
The course was cartpath only, the rough terrible, tall weeds that should have been mown, could not find you ball if you got off the fairways, and sometimes in the fairways because some of it was not mowed. This used to be a premier golf course but has really gone down hill. Invited 4 of my friends from out of town to golf her telling them this was really a great course and we were all very disappointed . Probably will not golf here again.
Koko Golf
The course is a difficult layout, having many low areas of the golf course filled.with casual water made it not fun. The abundance of hog.weed around the course is unsightly and should immediately be eradicated. I hope that course management will clean up the weeds and drain the water.
I would not play this course again.

Did not play
The course was flooded and they still charged me for the fees.

The course is in ok shape, but need to do something about the weeds/clover in fairways and add some sand to the traps.
We were limited to cart paths only due to the rain in the past days put was still well playable. Unfortunately the driving range was closed due to the wet conditions as well.
The current management is doing their best to get this course turned back around and restored to it's previous state and it can't happen overnight, I do feel they are on the right path.

Absolutely awful.
This course is an embarrassment to the Phoenix metro area. Don't waste your time or money.
The mud was terrible, no course Marshall to check pace of play had to phone in, and no double check a few holes later, so improvement was short term.

No Marshall on the course
It had rained and play was cart path only BUT the course had no Marshall. We called in to the golf shop to have to send someone out BUT they only came out once but the problem never ended. Almost a 5 hour round. The mud was one thing, but no Marshall and no check in wasn’t good at all with a full tee sheet. No discount for the amount of tons of mud on the course either.

Was once a great course.Now weeds in bunkers,no sand,extreme water on fairways. Range closed.I could go on. Must be up for sale to build condos. SAD.

Wouldn’t recommend
Very unsatisfactory! Worst course I’ve played in the valley! We left after 9 holes. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. The course was in horrible condition.

Course condition
So many weeds growing throughout course bunkers are absolutely the worst you can’t even play them Over 5 hour round seen beverage cart once on front nine never seen it on back nine. We played at 11:28.
Greens were okay and rolled pretty good.

Pace of play terrible
No on course communication regarding pace, no reason for slow play. 5+ hrs is way too long
I should get my money back, or at least a credit to play somewhere else.

Course was in terrible shape
Sand traps no sand just mud. Water laying everywhere. Not much drainage.
