Golf Club of Estrella

2nd time playing this course in the last week! Course is still green even during this hot summer! The greens were just cut really short and compacted with sand, so expect your back to run fast on the greens! I look forward to playing here all summer and can’t wait to see what it looks like during winter!

Well designed course, fairly good condition except for bunkers. Most have little sand, but most also have pebbles and rocks mixed in with sand and dirt. Shame for such a nice course to suffer from bad bunkers. Enjoyable course to play and still recommend it - just stay out of bunkers!

I played 18 on a very windy hot day, but had a great time. challenging hole placements with many bunkers to keep it really interesting. Make sure to have a few extra balls with you as you don't want to go hunting for balls as you'll likely come across a rattlesnake or two like we did.

First round this year at Estrella. He t was a good day. The pace is f play was really slow.

We played 4 of Phoenix’s top golf venues, my weeklong guest from Atlanta and myself. Golf Club of Estrella was exceptional. The turf conditions were great and the greens were spectacular.

Friendly staff from arrival to departure, beautiful views, and a price that is quite a bargain.

We’ll be returning to GC of Estrella. Thanks for a great day.

The staff was very professional, welcoming and respectful.

The course conditions were excellent. The greens ran true and were not overly fast and I was able to complete my round in just over three and a half hours.

I will definitely return to play again.

Tough but beautiful course. Awesome views. Bunker overkill.

Course was firm and fast. Pace was great until #17 when we ran into 3 groups playing, taking pictures and finally teeing off on #18

First time playing shot a 73 course can be tough with some shots over desert etc. pretty wide fairways though. Greens fast. Enjoyed the layout. Only complaint would be the way the greens are cut. I saw somebody else mentioned it on here that they were cut in circles lol which I closely look at on every green and it’s definitely different the breaks are tough to read. Other than that course is phenomenal I’d say!

Great course that my buddies and I travel about 40 minutes to play. Conditions are always great to exceptional. Not an easy course, but you can score if you play it right. Fairways are in excellent shape, rough is about average and greens were exceptional the day we played. Super smooth, and very consistent greens. We love playing here and will be back whenever we can. Always a great experience at Estrella!
