Golf Club of Estrella

Course was in great shape, played 18 holes and under four hours. Paired Up with three total strangers, had a blast definitely will be back.

Well designed desert layout. Some summer grass issues but didn’t impact play. Bunkers slightly better but still need more sand, fewer rocks and a little more TLC. Could be a very nice Troon course with a little more attention to detail and customer service.

Course was in good shape with greens rolling true. Some holes were too long for my playing ability so I just moved up a tee box on those. Pace of play was good on this day.

If you can play this track for under $50 - do it. It’s a lot of fun, in good condition, with some decently challenging holes. Great place to practice getting out of the sand ha. Pace of play was great. Never had to wait.

Staff was courteous and accommodating. Provided towels in cart and changed them out at the turn.

Range and practice facility is great and included in the daily rate

Course was challenging enough without being a confidence killer. Greens held iron shots and rolled true

Good little bar and grill

Only somewhat negative is the homes that seemed to choke the course on some holes

For a Troon course, this was a big disappointment. They should not have their name on this course, drags down their brand. Not well maintained, greens were below average, little amenities, dirty old buildings and facilities, and dirty bathrooms. Hard to tell where the dessert begins and fairways end. Not worth the $48.00, or the $150.00 plus in the winter.

I have played here quite often. Conditions yeaterday were the best i have seen them. Fairways are nice and tight and greens are smooth with decent speed. Always can find a good deal on Golf Now.

Course was absolutely beautiful and conditions for the summer were way above my expectations. There’s a lot of courses that wish they had these conditions in the winter prime season. Greens were all green and grown in. No dead or brown spots on any of the greens. Highly recommend playing here!

Once again, very good shape considering recent weather in Phoenix, for the past month we’ve had record high temps & the course was still very enjoyable! Other than the Bunkers, they were a bit rough, with hard wet sand/dirt mix…. Great otherwise, will be back!

2nd time playing this course, and really like the challenge. Good shape, really friendly staff and this time of year, good price. I’ll play here again.

Bunkers need more sand but otherwise in great shape.

Wow! That was my first impression of this place as I approached the practice facilities, the bunker they had there had actual fluffy white sand in it! Also, the range was great & the putting green was outstanding as well, I loved the location of it too! Right before the first hole & also, after you’ve finished as well, so it’s a great location as far as practicing if they’re backed up @ the first tee, or you’re not happy with your days round of putting, you can stop & have a lil more practice before heading home or over to the 19th hole! Great 1st time experience at Estrella! Will definitely recommend it, (I already have) and come back!!
