Golf Club of Estrella

My only complaint is that the bunkers are horrible. Packed dirt, No sand. Can’t play a normal bunker shot. With high lips you can’t slide a wedge under the ball. GET SOME SAND!

Very nice course. All the employees were great. Enjoyed our round.

Cart had bald tires (player services wouldn’t change cart)then flat tire, no one would answer phone at number on score card…even reservations couldn’t get a hold of the Proshop and told me to try back, same results…finally called the bar (apparently they understand customer service…) two holes later the ranger gave us his cart

It is such a great course. Fairways and greens great. Sand traps totally suck, crusty dirt that had been groomed

Once again Estella remains awesome .

The staff is super friendly and the course is fun challenging and scenic .

Even if you don’t play the back tees take a walk to the 18th tee box for an amazing view

I'm a cheapskate, so always looking for deals when playing solo while on work travel. This is a 5 star course for 3 star cost using Hot Deal. Challenging with lots of desert to carry off the tee, but I always bring lots of golf balls :). Worth the 1 hour drive for me!

I booked the tee time online, received a confirmation and when i got to the course they had no record of me booking. They proshop person was friendly and got me out in a timely manner. The price paid for the green fee was too high for Course conditions. Some of the greens had bare spots on them. The greens were pretty beat up. For a greenbfee over $100 I would expect more.

Played this course before and really liked it. Had a foursome looking forward to playing again and was pretty disappointed. The main problem was literally no sand in the traps. Course has nice layout holes are pretty much different not a long course. Just couldn’t believe how bad of shape course and mainly the traps were really really bad

Started out with the starter giving us bad news. The course didn’t have any score cards? At all? The rough was mowed shorter then the fairways. Lots of areas on the greens were damaged. Bumpy and not from divots. Not a good experience this time out. Then a random guy not playing golf wrecks his hoveround on the putting green by hole number 1. Hope he is ok. Overall not happy with the experience

Great layout from the tips. I was disappointed in the lack of sand in the bunkers, and the fronts of greens were hammered with ball marks. That's not the courses fault, but wanted to be real.

My wife and I enjoyed the course, amenities and staff. My only recommendation would be to fix the sand traps. They need better drainage and new sand. The traps were wet, hard and rocky.

Estrella is a great layout with plenty of tee options the staff is super friendly and the range balls are free with your round .

Putting green ran true the same as the course .

Staff did not put clubs on cart right away not sure why as we wanted to go practice ahead of time. Lost my club towel and my bag had been opened??? Privacy breach. Also no course score cards to show set up or yardages. For that price you better have them. Greens were in bad shape on many holes with no grass in places Sand traps too hard. Starter was great friendly and pace of play very good as we’ll cart availability was great
