Golf Club of Estrella

The course was in great shape. I have played it many times when we come to AZ.

First time playing there, and will definitely play again. Challenging with a lot of open desert areas to go over. Course was in excellent shape.

Super friendly and helpful staff.

Course hasn't changed much.

Some dry spots in areas but never affected play.

Such a nice course! The staff were so friendly and the pace of play was excellent. I will definitely be back to play!

Enjoyed our round, unfortunately we only got 14 holes in as we got a major downpour of rain . Will definitely play again.

As this is my home course, I don’t want to sound bias because it isn’t always “up to par” yesterday was by far the best round I’ve had here. Pace of play was spot on. The course was in fantastic shape. Thank you everyone for a great time.

Everyone there from the guy who greeted me to the beverage cart operator, was extremely friendly. We did unfortunately get behind a group of young men who slowed us down considerably. This is just bad luck and can happen anytime, anywhere, so not a knock on Estrella. In fact, there was a marshal that day who tried his best to hurry them along. I don’t recall the overall length of our round, but it wasn’t horrible.

We played this on a morning and it was excellent. Very impressive top to bottom.

Even though it is public, this seems to be a course that people that live in Estrella or Goodyear play regularly. You have to know where to hit and where not. Neither the greens nor the fairways hold your shots so everything is rolling off everywhere.

It was our first time playing there. Felt somewhat similar to the Verrado courses but that was probably because of the landscape.

Staff was friendly and pace of play was good. May come back sometime.

Just hard to see the prices anymore. Knowing what they use to be just even a few years ago… sad.

Great desert layout. Course was in good conditions, except for the bunkers. Forgiving off the tee, but approach shots were more difficult.

This was the second time I played this course in the past 18 months. I enjoyed the course and condition.

It can be challenging but not overwhelming. It’s a little pricey, but I guess that’s par for the course if you are in AZ in April.

The only complaint is that it’s a 40 min drive from Phoenix area.
