Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia
About
Now you can play in Peoria. Book a round at Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia, which Golf Digest magazine gave five stars out of five, an honor only a couple dozen North American golf courses share - no other in Arizona. Courses with the distinction include Bethpage Black, Pebble Beach, Bandon Dunes, TPC Sawgrass and Spyglass Hill. Five stars mean, according to the magazine, "Superb. Golf at its absolute best. Pay any price to play at least once in your life."
Gary Panks designed Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia to enhance the existing environment, and to make the course dramatic and playable. It's a round that should be on the list for a golf trip to Arizona. The par-72 course measures 7,291 yards from the Tournament tees.
After a round at Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia head to the Verde Grill for foods both familiar and inventive.

Poor Customer Service and Planning
First time on the course, they run sprinklers right on the the T's with no way to get around getting sprayed and soaking our gear. You'd think for the price of the course, they could plan that better. Last 2 holes, golf cart dies and we had to push it and when we informed Trilogy of it the guys just laughed and when we told them about he sprinklers they just shrugged. I will avoid going to this course even though I live right there.
hard fairways
course in great shape as always-just think towels and water and free range balls would make sense
Excellent location for staying on the outskirts NW of Phoenix. Quite a few bunkers throughout the course. Bunkers in the fairways provided risk/reward challenges, and also well protected the elevated greens. Harder for ladies because of the challenging approach shots and thick rough on miss hits. Good experience, probably wouldn't play with my wife there again.
Great layout
First time playing this course, very slow play, over 5 hours. Course Marshall couldn't speed up play, too bad but I'll come back. Driveable par 4 was really cool.
Hi @tmisford, thanks so much for coming out to enjoy Trilogy(r) Golf Club at Vistancia. We're really sorry to hear that the round was a little slow. We'll be sure to feed that back to our team. Hope you'll be back soon! - Kate
Excellent greens!
Superintendent and course crew do a great job keeping this course in great shape.
Good Experience
Played this course for the first time yesterday. Pace was sub 4 hours and enjoyable. Course was comparatively forgiving to the errant driver which helped my score. Tee boxes in excellent shape as were the fairways. Some of the greens a touch rough. Sand traps were hard and though they came into play were not punitive. All in all a fine round. No hesitation playing again.
I could live at Vistancia!
This is one of the most beautifully designed and well maintained golf courses that I've ever played and the setting was beautiful. Great neighborhood course that often doesn't fell like it. Fantastic layout and fantastic service. When in Phoenix, you need to play this course!
Terrific golf experience
Even with the long drive from the Scottsdale area the golf experience was well worth it. From the time you step out of your car to the drinks and dinner after the round the service you receive is first class. The course itself is in terrific shape and the greens while large are a reach challenge and demand you A game. Very good bang for the buck!
Great course
Course was in excellent condition
Fairways very nice and a great layout
Very Good Layout
The course was in fine shape from tee box to green. It was hot 95 in the afternoon and the greens were fairly fast, they were also pretty firm and as such was hard to get to ball to stop on the green sometimes. The fairways and rough are mown tight. There is some water on the course, and bunkers on most fairways and around each green. It's worth the play.
Worth the Drive
Trilogy provides a number of challenging holes on a fairly flat layout NW of Phoenix. Water around the green of a par 5, a wash area across a fairway at just the right (or wrong) distance, and other features will make you think before reaching for a club. Five sets of tees make it easy to play your game. Starter was great, kept things moving on a crowded day. Worrh the drive.
Beautiful Greens
This was the first time playing the course. Everything was in excellent shape and the pace of play was very good.
Course was in great shape. Staff friendly.
Pace was <4hrs for 4.
Only gripe was too many holes played into wind and had I knew this would have moved up.
Also be aware that every green is pro style with 15 ft areas to hit to. You miss them? practice 30 and 40 ft lag putts.
Greens rolled very true.
It's a course that would have to be played several times to learn nuisances
@WhileE1 it sounds like you had a lovely time. Is there anything we could have done better - we're really proud of our 100% recommended status that we've achieved over the past 6 months, and would love to have that continue. We noticed that you selected "would not recommend" and would just love to learn a little more if possible. Thanks in advance - Kate
A Must Play
I love to play this course when visiting the area. Always a great challenge. Need to know when to lay up and when to go for it.
Great Course
The course was excellent. Beautiful layout, everything was in great condition. Little surprised you still need to purchase practice balls however based on the price paid for a round. They give you a small bucket, which isn't bad. However for the price it should include practice balls. Range was fantastic however, along with the practice areas.
Course was in awesome condition
Other than the 1 hour frost delay this course had it all. Greens were perfect in fact they were flawless. The price was reasonable and we would play here again in a heartbeat.

I really appreciate the response from Scott and Kate and making the effort to explain the watering situation and really cared about my experience. I will definitely be back and giving it another try. Thanks!
Apologies for the delay - please contact scott.mattiello@trilogygolfclub.com. Many thanks!

Kate, that would be great to discuss with the GM. Can you provide the contact info?
Hi @stellalcolin - it sounds like our sprinklers mistimed. We don't typically run them during hours of play - so I would think this was an unfortunate system error. We'll ensure the course superintendent is aware of this mistake.
Our team will always prioritize reaching guests with a dead golf cart on course. Pushing the cart is certainly not part of the experience. Would you like to reach out to our General Manager? Your experience is atypical and we'd like the chance to learn more and make it right! - Kate
