Raven Golf Club - Phoenix

Didn’t find out greens were punched until we were on the first hole. No alert on golf now or from the pro shop. Sprinklers were on 70% of the holes. Still shot 73 but you expect more from a great course like Raven.

I'd recommend this coarse, the only down side was that there was no beverage person on the coarse.

For summer conditions, course was in generally good condition; however, all sand traps were either hard packed, no sand or throughly wet from sprinklers, all of which made it more difficult to escape in a controlled manner. Pace was 4:10 (average). Value was good. Greens needed another week or so to recover from earlier aeration; also ran a little slow (and bouncy on some long putts).

Love playing this course in the summer at the lower rates. Staff is great and course is in good summer condition.

It was a great time, staff was friendly and professional. The greens could of been a tiny bit better, but considering the conditions(110 degrees and in the afternoon), it was very good.

I went out after noon expecting a quick round given that there were still a bunch of available tee times listed. Instead I ended up behind a group of 5 playing together for some reason that slowed up play with no marshal in sight. The course is neat, more trees than all the courses around here. It’s sun burnt like everywhere around here this time of year but the greens weren’t terrible. Probably wouldn’t go back unless I want to spend an extra hour at the course working on my sun tan due to pace of play.

Solid pace of play, finished around 4 hours 15 minutes. Usually the course is in pristine condition. I will say some of the greens and tee boxes need some TLC. As it gets hotter, it's only going to get worse. Sounds like they are just going to ride with it through summer. Curious what it ends up looking like in the next month or 2. Definitely will be back as they usually adjust prices fairly.
