Generally Good Conditions
Had not played here in many years. Course had nice variety of hole layouts. Tees were in good shape, as were the fairways, though some aeration was present. Greens were receptive and ran medium speed. Sand traps looked full (fortunately I escaped them all … this time). Our threesome finished play in 3:40. Drinking water (cold) could be found on every other hole. Cold mango towels were refreshing. Large, mature trees helped to cool playing conditions on a hot day.

This course is somewhat challenging, yet if you stay in the shot and play to your true strengths you can score here!
Fairways are not level anywhere, but you can use that!
Great course in Phoenix
Loved finding hidden gems! Lots of desert courses in the valley and the Raven was total opposite. Will definitely come back!
Great Course
Had a high noon tee time that was met with super hot weather but did not keep me away from this gem of a golf course that I have played a few times now. If you want to be wowed with super nice course conditions for this time of season then this is the place. From check in to greeting and end of round by outside staff there was no better service at a public golf course then here. Tee boxes were well kept, level and green grass. Fairways and through the greens were mowed just right and grass was very green and full. Greens were smooth and rolled perfect. Pace of play was not a problem as a 2 ball we breezed through in 3hrs and 20. If you are looking for a non traditional desert course lined with pine trees in tip top condition right now then this is your destination!
Course Condition
The course is in excellent condition both tees, greens and fairways
Good round
Not quite a 5* course, but at around $100, very good value.. Greens were in very good condition. Will definitely play there again.
Greens run smooth and course is gorgeous
Was a little worried about the high price but would say this is up there with troon and some of the other nicer courses in the area. Worth playing.
Good Track
We had a great time at the Raven. Weather was great, staff very friendly, course in very good condition. One minor issue, our cart had a burn hole in the drivers seat. I'm a senior golfer and for me the course was a little long, a white yellow combo tees would have helped. We will go back.
Very cool course
Great change of pace course that isn’t really a Desert course. Tree lined and very very green. Challenging but rewards good players and isn’t too tough for the higher handicaps. This place was awesome and can’t wait to be back.
