Raven Golf Club - Phoenix

Course was in great condition except some of the traps are pretty thin. Fairways, greens and Tee boxes are in excellent condition.

Course was excellent. Would have gave 5 stars but the course was infested with mosquitoes. Everyone got attacked throughout the round

Really enjoy this course layout and it is usually in pretty good shape. Unfortunately this course is always really backed up on the weekends. Recently quit after 4 holes (took 1.5 hours to get through 4) and at least they gave us our money back. Had a group in front of us that had an entire hole in front of them and the ranger gave us lip when we called for him to come out and help us. Really bad experience and I will not be coming back anytime soon.

I love the Raven. It was in amazing condition for a record dry summer. I loved everything about the course, except.....While playing the 5th hole I noticed someone playing behind me on my tail even though no groups or singles were on the sheet behind me for at least 27 minutes. While walking off the green a yellow ball hit a few feet from me and a second hit the back of my cart. I resisted hitting the ball back at him and went to the next hole. I then noticed this dude drive up in a purple cart. I had just seen the cart on the patio of a home between the 4 th and the 5 th hole. I let the guy play through and he resisted but I convinced him to. I called the golf shop twice to let them know about it but of course, I had to leave a message.

Now, if I lived on the course I’d probably do the same, but wouldn’t hit into people. Come on Raven, you are better than this..

118* in PHX this week and the Raven is still in good shape. Greens are coming back after being aerated but that's to be expected. Wide, forgiving fairways. Bunkers need help. Filled with rocks and barely enough sand to make a shot. And the one with sand are filled with water from the sprinklers. Not bad, just don't hit into the sand.

Course is in great shape for this time of the year. Extremely happy for the money.

Everything about the course was excellent except the greens were bumpy from being punched two weeks ago . Another week and greens will be excellent just like the rest of the course

Course was in great shape and is an awesome layout! Not a single boring hole, and the staff is super friendly. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!!

Overpriced rate, wouldn’t have come if I knew the greens were punched and horribly unputtable

Wonderful course but unfortunately I underestimated the effect of aerating warning for the greens. Service was good, Carr services were out on a Wednesday morning. Will play this course again and expect to give it the full 5.

The greens were not pressed and extremely bumpy and aerated making putting extremely hard

The greens on the course had been recently aerated and they were unputtable. So much sand on the greens it was like hitting a putt in a sand trap. We were warned about the aeration but had no idea the green would be as bad as they were. That is the reason for the low rating. This is a great course and very well maintained. Just not worth playing under the condition the course was in.

Great golf course. A little more of a parkland setting compared to the typical desert courses in the area. Very well kept. Very undulated fairways made for some challenging lies. Greens were a little slow but rolled pretty true. Great weather in January. Would recommend as a warm up course off the airplane. Great practice facilities. Nice pro shop and club house. Everyone was very friendly.
