Raven Golf Club - Phoenix

Already mentioned the difficulty, challenging layout with every hole having some kind of catch to it and that the raven is pretty much a great very taking place to play and I highly recommend it. What I forgot to say before was that the raven also has the best beer cart girls.

Pretty tough course. Either a given hole was really long and difficult to reach in two or you had to be Dead Eye Richard to hit the green because of bunker placement. One par four was only 300 yards...but was literally had ten bunkers on the approach with no margin for a bad shot. Freeways were beautiful, layout was great and greens were firm and fast. Normally, this course costs north of 80; I managed to sneak on for 45. I'd play this again in a heartbeat

Some people don’t care, but customer service and friendliness go along way to someone like me ..... and this course knocked it out of the park again!

not to mention the fairways, greens and bunkers .....all in terrific shape —- nobody out there on a weekday afternoon, currently the best value around for what type of course you get ....lots of trees and water!

What a great day. Putting green and range were ample size. Signage was great between holes. Par 3 ranged between 132 and 202 (silver tees 6722 yards). Par 4 between 303-430. Par 5 between 499-577. Green were in ok shape (quite smooth but many with pitch marks unfixed. Areas between holes with bushes, flowers, and pine trees. Good value for $96 in May 2020

So the course is in pretty decent shape with the exception of the “sand” traps which were rock hard or had standing water.

My golf cart quit on me in the middle of the 15th fairway and no one brought another one out to me. So much for social distancing. I had two choices, either walk the remaining holes in 105 degree temps or chance getting Covid-19 by saddling up with another golfer. I chose the risk.

Another poor point is we did not see the cart girl except twice. At 105 it would have been nice to see her a few times.

Greens and fairways were in good shape. I think I will still recommend the course to a friend. Probably my sucky luck the cart quit on me and maybe the drink girl was slammed with other customers (my wife tells me it’s not always about me :)

Wow! The greens were soft, true and FAST! The fairway were very lush. GREAT track!

Excellent straightforward course with tree liner fairways in the desert! Fairways & Greens in great shape. Would play again .

A tree lined course with pines. Reminds me of a Georgia. Great shape and picturesque..rolling fairways. Bunkers are very deep and LACK ENOUGH SAND especially for the greenside bunkers! My only complaint. Why can't you fill them properly?

Beautiful course, greens were pristine. Was there on an extremely busy day so there was plenty of slow golfers out there slowing down the pace. But no complaints really on that front.

Will be back as many times as I can afford.

upon arrival was promptly greeted and set up by staff. as the other players did not show , the starter cobbled together a foursome from several tee times. course conditions were lush with no poor lies on fairway, rough or greens. tees just ok. some bunkers had drainage issues.an enjoyable round on a well maintained course.

I had a lovely outing. Particularly the pace of play was terrific for a Saturday. We saw the marshal on multiple occasions and it was obvious he was doing his job. Greens were minimally tattered with the winter season winding down. Fairways wide and in reasonably good shape. There is plenty of sand in the bunkers as I found out several times. Very playable course — fun for a high handicapper like me. Staff was terrific. I’ll be back.

I was a single and was paired with a threesome I paid for hot deal and they told me they also paid for hot deal which was hald the price I paid you would think if I was paired with them that i would have got same price if not less..

Course was in great condition. Greens were fast. I'd play it again.

The staff were very friendly, the course was in excellent shape, great for the average golfers and very enjoyable to play.Would highly recommend it to anyone. They could use a shorter ladies tee.
