The sun shines 350 days a year in Phoenix and you can enjoy this factor at Ahwatukee Country Club. "Ahwatukee" is Crow Indian for "house of dreams", but this could easily be the "golf course of dreams".
The semi-private Ahwatukee Country Club offers an 18-hole golf course designed by John Bulla in 1974 that is open year-round and includes a driving range, as well as a cart included in the greens fee. The golf course is par-72 and measures 6,713 yards from the championship tees.
The Ahwatukee Country Club golf course features a fairly wide-open layout, but has out-of-bounds areas on either side of the fairways - including some with houses, so watch out for those windows - as well as water hazards on some holes. The putting greens play fast.
After a tight front nine on the Ahwatukee Country Club golf course, things open up on a razor-sharp par-4 dogleg 10th hole, with no chance to cut corners: there's a towering forest to the left.

Greens are in bad shape
Front nine, greens are a bit inconsistent, but not too bad. Back nine, they are in very bad shape. Not sure what has happened to them but they are all patchy. Fairways are o.k.
Not worth the money
The greens the fairways the course was in poor shape and in no way by any stretch of the imagination worth paying $89.00 plus tax plus a fee if you use a credit card which came out to about $100.00. Don't waste your time and money on this course.. I wont play it again until they drop the price back down to where it should be...no more the $40.00. Beware, they charge a fee now if you use a debit/credit card. which they don't tell you. I would not have known if I had not looked at the receipt.

Greens very inconsistent
Course is in pretty good shape. Pace seemed slow, we were waiting at each tee box, but in the end, did the 18 holes in 4 hours, so guess it wasn't that bad. Greens very frustrating. Some fast, some slow, cost quite a few strokes.

Good course for all. Great friendly staff. Good price for the experience. Highly recommend.
Great day of golf
Wonderful old styled golf course. Great people very personable and helpful. Course is playable for golfers of all skill level. I play this course every time I visit the area. Highly recommend.
bad
bad day at Ahwatukee C.C. fairways and bunkers had water all over the course, Puddle and ponds of water , Bathroom filthy toilet tissues all over floors no towels to dry hands , sinks filthy . Starter tried to put another person in our group of 3 . We paid on Golf Now for 4 players and one was not able to play so we still were not able to cancel in time so iwe did not want someone else playing with us because we booked and paid for 4 people
Greens are in great shape and major improvements in last 6 months
Still a lot of dead trees and standing water in numerous fairways including large mud patches. It’s getting better, but still needs some work. In my opinion it’s not worth more than $60
You can do better for your money
Pace of play was extremely slow and the course wasn’t that busy. teed off at 8:30 am and didn’t finish until 1:07 pm. fairways are fine, greens are fine, tee boxes are pretty bad, views are fine. but for $70 you can play a nicer course. not really one to leave a bad review either, but I won’t be back.
Pace of a play horrible
Took a twosome 2.5 hours to play the front 9. No ranger on the course and the clubhouse assistant was no help. Wasn’t able to finish because the people in front of us was paired up with a walker. Horrible pace of play, would not recommend
Course looking great
Been playing here for a year , the conditions have greatly improved. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
Great Course for the Price
Course is under new management for the past two years and just seems to get better and better. It’s a fun course and well worth the money.
Great Staff
Dylan at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer and made sure I was well taken care of when I checked in and was able to answer every question I had. Course is fun and decently priced!
