The sun shines 350 days a year in Phoenix and you can enjoy this factor at Ahwatukee Country Club. "Ahwatukee" is Crow Indian for "house of dreams", but this could easily be the "golf course of dreams".
The semi-private Ahwatukee Country Club offers an 18-hole golf course designed by John Bulla in 1974 that is open year-round and includes a driving range, as well as a cart included in the greens fee. The golf course is par-72 and measures 6,713 yards from the championship tees.
The Ahwatukee Country Club golf course features a fairly wide-open layout, but has out-of-bounds areas on either side of the fairways - including some with houses, so watch out for those windows - as well as water hazards on some holes. The putting greens play fast.
After a tight front nine on the Ahwatukee Country Club golf course, things open up on a razor-sharp par-4 dogleg 10th hole, with no chance to cut corners: there's a towering forest to the left.

Monday golf
It was a very old facility. Repairs going on in restrooms, but open. Cart needed a cleaning. The two gentlemen we played with were members & apologized course in just ok conditions. Mats at driving range were worn & need replacing.
Good value
Good value for the round price. There was some debris on the greens, other than that the course conditions were pretty good. It pay to be straight with your shots. The course is challenging, but not difficult.

Terrible course
Greens under repair with large blocks of sod. Pace of play was 5 hours for eighteen holes. Would not rebook this course or recommended to friend. Worse course I golfed in Phoenix valley all winter.

The course was poorly maintained. The greens were not good, no grass in spots. Part of one green was ground under repair. We waited on every hole and on most shots. The player assistant did not seem to do anything about slow play. We have played a number of different courses and this was the worst.

Slow pace of play AGAIN
Last three times around I'm left getting cold on the tee box with two groups out on almost every hole.
First time last time
Been in Phoenix two weeks thought we might finally get 18 holes in. Had 1:15 tee time, teed off 2:30. Waited every hole! Heard someone say best cheapest course in Phoenix. Guess you have to spend over $100 per person to get 18 holes in a day

Worst run course in the valley
I have sworn to myself never to play here again and the only reason I played it yesterday was there was nothing else available. I was booked at 1:45, we hit our first tee shots at 2:30 while still waiting for a cart to be brought to us. 2 groups of friends were directly in front of us and played as an 8some from 5 on through the front nine. When we finally completed 9 I left knowing that there was no way of making it any farther than 12 before it was too dark ( I got in my truck at 5:09 without stopping at the bar). With a bucket of balls I payed $72 to play 9 holes on course that's not worth $50 even at this time of the year. I will NEVER go back to this course again.

Overbooked and slow
Was able to get through 7 holes in just over 3 hours....
It's not enjoyable when sitting and waiting at every hole for 2 groups ahead of you to finish teeing off. Golf should not take 8 hours to get through a full 18 holes. And its very disappointing to have a course book overbook as much as possible to collect the over priced rate from as many people as possible, thus providing the customer with an expensive and unsatisfactory experience.

Waited over an hour to tee off- not on player list
Scheduled 2:45 pm with golf now and showed up at 2:15pm and paid at the pro shop and said “we are running 40min behind is that all right?” I said no not really in a kidding way and she said would you like to hit some balls meanwhile? Sure so I paid my 10 bucket (should of been free) and never got called to the tee box and if I never walked up to the cart kid I would of never known they had not placed me on the players sheet and now it’s way passed 3pm….only could get 9 in.

3 hours for first 9 holes
Due to tee times every 7 minutes and inept marshals, the front 9 holes took 3 hours. It didn’t get any faster on the back 9 and we were forced to leave before our round could be finished when our tee time (1pm) should have been plenty of time.

Loved the par 4s. Some of them were very challenging with obstacles making you think twice about how to approach the play.

Not sure
Course was less than desirable. Greens were in really rough shape. The roof basically didn’t exist it was just hard dirt. The imagination of the holes was the best part of this course.

Great day of golf
There was a frost delay of an hour so we used the range and putting practice facilities.
Thinking that would help our round of golf we started and had a nice couple join us and off we went.
The fairways and greens overall were in very good shape.
Now back to that putting practice, nice flat surface but on the course, the flag placements were challenging, and one putts turned into two and maybe a couple of three putts.
We did enjoy the round of golf, it was pleasurable

This course was in the worst condition that I have ever seen it . Bare spots in the fairways to much water in others. Little to no grass in the rough areas. Most of the greens were in good shape but several had huge patches of ground under repair.
