About
Foothills Golf Club offers 18 holes of golf on a golf course designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf and built in 1988. The par-72 golf course measures 6,901 yards. Foothills Golf Club sits among the South Mountains, and features a contrast of challenge and forgiveness on a links-style course that allows golfers to play a target layout that has more than 65 bunkers that daunt, fairways that roll and desert that has a lot of rocks. The fabulous championship golf course provides the locale for all levels of golfer to shoot a memorable day of golf.
After taking in the views of the South Mountains on the Foothills Golf Club's golf course, head back to the clubhouse, for wonderful vistas of the course and the Estrella Mountain Range.

Great conditions, but greens were super slow!
The course is looking great, and the greens look great, but they were super slow! Could never quite get the ball to the hole.... Not sure if they are using a different variety of grass, but the speed of the greens really were way too slow.
First time here
Overall this course is a gem. Fairways and greens in excellent condition. Pace of play was great. The staff was super friendly. Nice practice areas.
The carts are older gas type with no GPS but not a big deal.
Clubhouse is pretty new with great food and reasonable prices.
Overall, I recommend this place and definitely want to come again.

Course was in good shape. Staff in the clubhouse and starter were very helpful. Range assistant less so
A gem
The fairways and greens were very well kept. A very playable course. It had character, but was not a target golf course.
There was some challenges, but every hole gave you an area you could put the ball and still be safe.
Nice Course in Beautiful Surroundings
The course was in good condition and pace of play was good. We teed off at 2:12 and got done just before dark. The course is a good value for the money and the scenery was fantastic.
Friendly place to play
Everything was great about the course except the greens were slow!
Don't close the range in the middle of the day
Don't close the range in the middle of the day just so your ball picker doesn't have to work after 5.
I had a 1:18 tee time and the range was closed for picking.
I know the range has to be picked clean for mowing but that doesn't require closing the range at noon the day before.
Pick it the evening before and cut it first thing the next morning. Apparently Foothills thinks this is good management twice a week.
Tee time
Booked a tee time with GN but when I got to course they changed tee time. They blamed it on GN. Not sure who is at fault
