About
Foothills Golf Club offers 18 holes of golf on a golf course designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf and built in 1988. The par-72 golf course measures 6,901 yards. Foothills Golf Club sits among the South Mountains, and features a contrast of challenge and forgiveness on a links-style course that allows golfers to play a target layout that has more than 65 bunkers that daunt, fairways that roll and desert that has a lot of rocks. The fabulous championship golf course provides the locale for all levels of golfer to shoot a memorable day of golf.
After taking in the views of the South Mountains on the Foothills Golf Club's golf course, head back to the clubhouse, for wonderful vistas of the course and the Estrella Mountain Range.

Horrible Experience
What do you pay Marshall's for if they don't do anything but ride around and look for balls. Would not play here again! The course was in poor shape and the pi. setter is new....all the holes were raised and not flush!
Foothills Golf Course
Not a bad track. It is in rough shape in some spots, but fairways, tee boxes and greens weren’t too bad at all. We teed off at 10 am and finished in under 4 hours. Greens were a bit furry in spots and were a bit inconsistent, but certainly puttable. My wife and I enjoyed our round and we have no hesitation in recommending this course.
Excellent course
Having a cough holiday in Phoenix is a heaven. There are so many courses to choose, and we choose this one..
The course, layout and design was extremely interesting not to mention the nice surroundings and serenity of the location.
A true desert golf course, truly nice greens, and the bunkers placed exactly where you land your ball.
Highly recommended to test your skills.

Like all courses in PHX area.....expensive in up times. But able to book on Tee Off.

Worse than I remembered
Course conditions were very rough. Talked with starter at the turn and he agreed course was in rough shape. I quit playing this course a few years ago and it’s gotten worse. Way overpriced for what it is. Apparently new owners are planning on making a bunch of changes and I hope they get back to it’s original condition. Troon managed now and that should help but that means it likely will be overpriced. It’s a nice layout. Shame it hasn’t changed in years
Nice course but a little slow
Course was in good condition. Pace of play was slow, close to 4.75 hours to play…not too bad for a Friday afternoon
Charge $80, worth $20
Foothills is a good layout and it used to be a decent track. But not any more. Large sections of the fairways and areas around the greens have NO grass at all. Even the MATS on the range are slowing signs of wear. The greens were so long and slow that putting more than 15 feet was virtually impossible; and the shorter ones were very inconsistent making even putting no fun. I hope that someday the management will invest in the course and make it at least payable
My go to course
Nothing wrong with the course, my game is the actual problem.
