Foothills Golf Club offers 18 holes of golf on a golf course designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf and built in 1988. The par-72 golf course measures 6,901 yards. Foothills Golf Club sits among the South Mountains, and features a contrast of challenge and forgiveness on a links-style course that allows golfers to play a target layout that has more than 65 bunkers that daunt, fairways that roll and desert that has a lot of rocks. The fabulous championship golf course provides the locale for all levels of golfer to shoot a memorable day of golf.

After taking in the views of the South Mountains on the Foothills Golf Club's golf course, head back to the clubhouse, for wonderful vistas of the course and the Estrella Mountain Range.

Good condition for this time of year but could have used a lower cut on the greens.

The rest of the course overall not too bad w/exception of a some fairways.

Hopefully they keep on watering, maybe extra because it’s just been extremely hot around here lately!

Course conditions

Fairways dry and dormant grass; t-boxes on most holes were not well kept; lack of fresh cold water stations on course; understand there is some remodeling in progress but these are simple things to consider. No Cart refreshments provided for afternoon rounds. Will not be playing this course again.

A Work in Progress

The course was a bit rough but looks like they are putting a lot into improving. The range, bathrooms, and restaurant were all closed for renovations during my visit. Staff was great, even during the slow times.

20 mins late teeing off. By hole 3 we’re backed up 3 groups. 3 hrs to play front nine.

Not once did we see a ranger to keep pace of play up.

We were so disgusted, stopped after nine.

Fairways were in horrible shape.

Construction on every hole of the back nine

You’ll hit off dead grass more than fairway here. Employees mowing the grass around the tee boxes as we were teeing off every single hole on the back 9. Almost told them to shut up. Mind you this is at 9-11am.

Why wouldn’t they be out doing maintenance at 4am like every other course.

Shouldn’t be more than 19.99 ever. Honestly hated this course.

Good bones

Great design. Good greens even tho slow they rolled true all day long. Hoping troon cleans up the “edges” of the course. Could really be a gem. Tho then the prices go crazy so maybe just freeze it how it is right now lolol

Great layout.

Great layout. Loved the setting. The course itself needs some TLC. Hopefully Troon provides it. Greens were in very good shape but slow. I’ll definitely go back when in PHX.

Reasonable course conditions, greens were very good. Many picturesque views. Playing partners didn't acknowledge anyone's good shots (they missed a bunch). Staff was beyond helpful getting ride to airport! I would recommend playing here!
