Foothills Golf Club

I thought when Troon took over management of this course it would really be improved. Don’t be fooled by the good reviews, this course is a good layout and in a beautiful part of the valley but it still looks like a goat pasture around the edges. Also there are large patches of dirt in some of the fairways which was the problem last time I played here 3 years ago. If you are a serious golfer or even looking for a nice course then I would suggest you avoid Foothills until they make some improvements in the areas anywhere off the fairways. Cart paths are very rough and bumpy also. Very disappointed.

course was nice but the greens were bumpy maybe just punched but over all nice track

The course is in pretty good shape, the staff were great,, we enjoyed our day except for the terrible pace of play on the back nine. We were 2:10 on the front and 2:35 on the back, waiting constantly.

For the price unless you’re getting a discount I would go someplace else

Wow what a golf course.condition we’re great. The scenery on this course was amazing. Loved everything about it. The staff was outstanding. Would definitely play here again

The fairways and greens are good and the course layout is very good. The rough and some of the tee boxes are in very bad shape and the walls around the course look like a war zone they are in such bad shape. The best part was being able to get a good tee time at an affordable rate. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Took about 4 hours 15 minutes, which isn’t bad, but seemed slow.

We started our round at 11:03, in the light rain.

No one on the course. We were met by the bag drop and had the clubs placed on carts.

The golf shop gentleman was friendly, informative and extremely helpful.

We literally were the only ones playing on the course, for the next couple hours.

The course was in great shape, creative holes winding through the neighborhoods. Positively a challenge to play.

An absolute Gem!!!

Pace of play was good. Cart paths are o long way from greens, causing extra walking for senior citizens. Tees, fairways and greens are in very good shape. Tough greens to read, but fair to putt.

Played here many times and got a deal so went again. Course was in good condition other than the need to level out their tee boxes. Greens were slower than most in the area but rolled true. Had a great day on a course I enjoy, and the new sand in the bunkers makes it a much better course to play.

Very slow pace of play. Waited on almost every tee Bo’s for the foursome in front of us.

We got ripped off price wise.

Enjoyable day of playing golf… I always have to book 1 golfer so it’s a toss up on who they put me with… staff is super friendly… most of the course is in good shape… greens could use some work, you could tell where the last 2 weeks hole locations were… new management and course is going through changes… pace was slow going throughout the day but it didn’t matter… the 3some I was paired with made it a fun day… I’ll be checking back on this course next time

I wouldn’t play on a weekend unless you have 5 hours. Course layout is good. Fairway condition are good. Greens are slow and bumpy

I played this course quite often and thought what it was purchased by new management. We would see some improvements. In the last five or six months, all I have seen is price increases, and now the driving range is closed to the neighborhood public most of the day. This is a very fun course with a great layout the greens are in good condition, but the tea boxes have needed to be rolled for a long time. Also, we had a 3 PM teatime, we saw the cart girl on hole number one and never saw her again
